Just take it to any AutoZone and ask them to read your codes (they hook up a code reader which gives them/you an idea of your problem) and reset you ecu/computer its a free service Could just be your gas cap O2 sensors tune up or a hundred other and worse things.

I had the same problem. The warning light sensor located in the trunk behind the carpet behind the left panel is your problem if you have lights out. You have to break it off to get to it. Dont worry it wont break it. You will find many wires leading to and from it. Get a clamp to connect the two wires together. Connect the green-red wire to the green-white wire. The light will stay on but it fixed my brake lights on my car. The light means you have a bad bulb in the system. Check all of the front and rear lights. (signal ,brake ,park ,tail etc.) Just this past two weeks I've had trouble with my lights. I have checked and replaced bulbs, and all are essentially working. I also replaced one of the tail/brake light assemblies for a few bucks. Periodically, one of my brake lights will not illuminate when pedal is first depressed. Try cleaning contacts and using some bulb grease. I'm thinking that some moisture may be causing the trouble. My "Lights" indicator is still on but all bulbs are working and fuses are ok. By soaking the sensor in vinegar, it worked again for about a week. The sensor is very hard to remove without taking out the battery first (which is also very hard to remove).In the process of flushing out the coolant system, I removed the coolant reservoir which was coated with gooey deposits that would not wash off with detergent. I found that paint thinner quickly dissolved the deposits so I decided to try cleaning the coolant level sensor with the paint thinner also. So far, the sensor is working again so it appears that coolant sludge on the sensor was causing the problem. By the way, before cleaning the sensor, remove the 2 o-rings first because the paint thinner will ruin them. Also wash off any traces of paint thinner before reinstalling the reservoir or the sensor.
