to remove the dash board first remove the center grille by the windshield and remover the 2 sensors be careful not to break the housings there are 3 bolts along the front edge then remove the air vents in the dash look on each side of the vent there is a clip that bends outward with a small screwdriver etc and there is a screw in the upper middle of the opening use a service light to see them, there are 7 total remove them completely and the dash comes right out by lifiting it up at one end.. remove fuse A 3 under the hood and fues A5 and B5 in the trunk ..

small evap leak, check the fuel cap, if it is not loose, replace it.

Does the steering wheel have turning pressure on it, try turning wheel to pull pressure off the ign. ?

The bolt pattern on a 1998 S-10 is 5 x 120.65

we are trying to find regular factory wheels that fit the lug pattern off of a 1997 Chevy blazer s-10 2 wheel drive

This can be tricky. The base of a distributor is sealed with several "O" rings and to replace them requires removal of the entire distributor. A shop will charge no more than an hours labour for this. Or a "Quick" fix is to loosen the bolt securing the distributor and lift it out slightly and the wipe all oil away from the mating surfaces. Then use a heat resistant silicone and apply a small amount to the mating surfaces, drop the distributor into place, secure the bolts and wait several hours and then start.

If it has a 4.3 V-6 it is in the disturber.

If your front door lock make no noise when the lock/unlock is pressed on your keyless entry it's a very good chance the door lock actuator is not working and will need to be replaced. Est Cost $46 for the part and about $115-130 in labor.

If it is the 4.3 liter engine and you have drained all the oil out of the engine oil pan and you have replaced the old oil filter with a new oil filter, then you need to add 5 quarts of engine oil to get the proper level in your engine.

2 days later ... we have changed the thermostat, water pump ( it was leaking), drive belt, drained and refilled the system, did a continuity test on the coolant sensor, then was online and found a site about the damage that "DEX Cool" causes and the lawsuits. So we again drained the whole system removed the rad reverse flushed it and foun at our local Lordco automotive an antifreeze that is universal for both regular and Dexcool systems and we added a product that claims to make water wetter and improve coolant by 20 degrees. Finished that all up today and after the refill took the truck and a run on our local backroads (all mountain driving) the engine is still running a little warm for my liking hitting the 112 C range but it never actually overheated. To early for celebrations yet but a vast improvement.

You have two per bank (right bank, left bank) pre the converter. You have one after the converter or post converter. Five total. Heated and unheated. Bosch is your best bet for replacement sensors. Happy Motoring. Ron

my son's friend broke my taillight with a lacrosse ball which caused me to get a used taillight assembly and learn the answer to your question. 99 passat. if it's the driver's side, open the trunk and remove the cover to the CD changer/storage area by twisting the two thumbscrews. this will expose a white plastic insert. press two plastic tabs toward the center and the entire assembly, that holds 4 bulbs (only 3 populated), lifts out easily. to replace a bulb press down and turn (bayonet base). similar concept for passenger side. just lift away the black covering to expose the white plastic assembly.

I'd sure like to hear the answer to this as mine is doing the same thing and won't run. Just changed fuel pump due to a no-run problem with oem pump. Thanks I had this problem on my 91' s10 2.8 and found that the problem was the oil sending unit, which on my truck is located right next to the oil filter. i unplugged it and it has ran just fine ever since, i would recommend finding a new unit but it will run just fine without it no more blown fuses.

When looking at the engine from the front, the EGR is a round-topped item being held to the intake manifold by two bolts. It is located right near the front on top of the engine, between the alternator and AC compressor. It should be underneath the throttle/cruise cables. It is easily removed by disconnecting the electrical connector and removing the two bolts with an extension and 10 MM deep well socket.

I myself have tried to clean my EGR before by spraying carb cleaner into it and even using a steel bristle brush. If that fixes the problem..good. If not, you may need to replace it.

There is a way to run it on the drivers side i did just the other day with out drilling. Its back behind the brake, it is where the cable to release the hood what you have to do is pull out the rubber plug and slide the power cord though and then puch the plug back in. This is the easiest way to do it because it brings you on the same side of the battery
