Will 195 75 R14 fit a cavalier?

Yes, they will. I have a set of 4 on my 97' Chevy 2 door and they fit the rims fine. The tires also fall within a 3% diameter of each other and shouldn't effect the brakes and will be a safe tire change. If you're going from the manufactures tire (195/70/14) to 195/75/14 the only major difference you will notice is a 3-4% difference (a slower difference) in the way your speedometer reads speed. This isn't much, but keep in mind, if you're speedometer reads 65-70, you're probably actually going 67-72ish. Aside from that minor difference, the tires feel and function just like the specified manufactures tires did for me. Follow the PSI ratings on the tire, as apposed to the ones on the door, as those are for the original tires. Hope that helps ya some :D

How do you replace the Key-lock cylinder in a 1993 Geo Metro LSI The assembly is riveted to steering columm?

I had a problem where the end of my key 'fell off' inside the ignition. I'm not sure how this happened, but it did and the ignition was rendered useless. As far as I know, you cannot actually change the cylinder inside the ignition. I settled for removing the entire unit. The rivets you mentioned are not actually rivets, but bolts without the hex head, presumably that way for theft prevention. If you're desperate you can take a dremel tool with a cutting wheel and either make a slice on one of the bolt heads so that you can use a screwdriver to remove it, or cut the strap holding it to the steering column - it's probably an easy replacement.

Hooked up battery backwards on international tractor 454 it was dark outside some smoke from behind the inst panel swiched it back It then would turn over but not fire Any guess what got fried?

Hopefully it was just a fuseable link. I did the same thing on a Kubota. I got a wiring diagram and found the location of the fueseable link and replaced it. Life was good after that.

How do you remove a front rotor on a 2004 Chevy cavalier?

Remove the wheel, remove the two caliper bolts and hang the caliper with a wire or bungee cord: you don't want any pressure on the brake hose. Then remove the two caliper carrier bolts and remove the carrier. The rotor just slides off after that.

How do you replace the water pump on a 1996 Chevy Cavalier?

If a 1997 Cavalier is the same:

(I don't know how to technically drain the coolant system, as my car was doing that on its own...but do that first)

FIRST, remove the serpentine belt (note its existing route): Locate the idler pully...it's near the top of the engine in between the alternator and the power steering pully. Using a socket wrench (15mm) (hard to fit in there..I used a small breaker bar) or box wrench on the nut in the center of the pully, turn the pully clockwise. This will release the tension on the belt enough to remove it from the alternator. Be careful letting the idler pully go back as it will go much farther back than where it was without the belt on it. Now move the belt out of your way.

SECOND, remove the three bolts that connect the pully onto the water pump. I believe these were 13mm. Again, sockets are hard to fit in there. Remove the pully. This will give you better access to remove the next four bolts (I learned this the hard way). Now, remove the four bolts that hold the water pump on. They're all fairly easy to get to, except one...farthest down, but you should be able to do it. Wiggle the pump out and remove. More coolant will come out.

THIRD, and this is probably one of the most important things, remove the old gasket. After all, a new gasket or pump won't be too good if the gasket can seat well. Mine had 160,000 miles of time to bake itself on there (not fun). I found swearing did not help, but a screwdriver, file, sandpaper, etc will. Clean up the area and all the junk you don't want inside your coolant system.

FOURTH, put on new gasket or new pump and gasket....pump was only about $20, so why not change the whole thing while you're there.

I don't have the torque specs or know the proper way to refill the coolant system, but the above got my car working. Good luck!
