== Shift Knob Removal ==
The shift knob is "keyed" - it only fits on one way, so it's impossible to turn it in either direction without imparing damage to the linkage below the shifter boot.
There is a metal clip at the base of the shift knob. You will have to peel the boot away from this area to access the metal clip. Best to cut the clip, then pry off using channel lock pliers and/or vice grips - It's a battle to get off.
The shift knob will stay in place without that clip, as long as you don't lift upwards.
ON the 2001 model, The lower half of the shift knob pushes downward remove the left side set screw.. and the rear set screw, hiding in the rear upper half. and lift up.

the fuse box in located inside the glove box in the rear of it, however if you have headlight problems that might not help. if you have halogen bulbs and one is out, try putting another one in, if however you have xenon bulbs then i doudt a fuse will help. good chance a xenon control unit is faulty and bulb,sudjest taking it to a dealer if that is the case. good luck. On my model it was located in the roof of the glovebox. There are 2 white tabs of plastic that must be turned 90 degrees and the fuse tray will drop down. The fuse puller is located in a center bracket (orange). I advise using this tool when pulling the fuses.

The 2006 S2000 and later models have an automatic weight sensing switch under the passenger seat. There is a light above the radio that will indicate the airbag is "OFF". I think the federally mandated switches have a sensitivity of 60 pounds or less. You'll find all US sold cars 2006 or less will have the automatic passenger airbag switch systems. 2008 Chevy Colorado headlight removal?
You need to be double jointed and have really small hands. Seriously. You have to reach your hand down behind the headlamp which is no small feat and grab hold of it and turn it counter clockwise about 45 degrees. It will come loose from the mount. Then you have to remove a small blue safety clip that protects the lead wires. Then undo another black plastic clip that holds the actual light to the wiring harness. First time you do this is a real trial but it gets easier the second and third time if you find out that it's not the headlamp that's bad but the maybe the fuses. Good luck

Passengers side firewall. behind the wiper and cooling fluid reservoirs. Look for a finned gray metal "box" with three connectors plugged in the front. The connectors will have a red strap on them. Be VERY careful messing with the PCM, as it is the computer that controls just about everything. Do some research before you pull the three connectors as they are easy to damage.
