Speakers don't work in 2004 Impala LS but the radio does are the apeakers on a different circuit?

i have a 05 LS and i did this recently. you need to check your wire harness behing your CD player to make sure that your wires are still intact, then you if then are still connected, you may want to check your fuses or the speakers themself to make sure that they are hooked up right. sometimes the stock adapter may slide off of the speaker. if you need to see how to take the dash off, i have answered that for a few people, all you need to do is look it up.

How do you reset the tire pressure warning light on a 2004 Chevrolet impala?

if you have the owners manual, check the index. I can't find mine right now, but I know that you have to hold the radio power button and another button on the stereo in for thirty seconds and then the on the stereo display - it will flash asking about resetting the tire pressure gauge. If you can't find your manual, repost and I will dig mine out.

Can 22 fit on a 2001 impala and if so what size rims and tires should you get?

Can you flat tow an Impala?

If you put it in neutral you can flat tow it for a couple (two or three) blocks but if the transmission jumps into gear when you hit a bump or something you will ruin the transmission pretty quick. If you try to flat tow for any distance you will ruin the transfer case for sure.

How do you install rear speakers in a 2006 impala?

1. First, remove the rear seat. There are two black lanyards near the base of the bottom cusion, pull them out to unlatch the seat bottom. 2. Remove the rear seat back. There are two small nuts that hold it down, remove them. Remove the seat belt latches. 3. Remove the rear deck. It simply lifts out. 4. Undo the clips on the speaker housings, and gently pry up on the housings. There is a small amount of adhesive which may make you think they are permanently attached; they aren't. 5. You will need a Torx driver to remove the stock speakers from the housing. 6. Installation is the reverse.

How often do you check coolant after mechanic fills?

At the same interval you check your tires and bring the pressure up to recommended: every month with a new car, and more often if you have a reason to suspect a problem.

Remember to check the coolant when the engine is cold, to get an accurate reading and eliminate the chance of getting burned. Tires too, as they will read high when they are warm.

Where is the temperature sensor on a 1993 Grand Am 3.3 L?

It will have two. One for the guage/light and another for the PCM and cooling fans. One will probably be located in the intake behind the alternator, and the other one, also located on the intake will be over by the upper radiator hose/thermostat housing. The one over by the alternator will be the one that signals the PCM.

Why does your 2003 Impala not start up?

Your 2003 Impala might not start up because the battery is dead or the starter is broken or damaged. It might also not start because the fuel tank is empty or the fuel pump is broken.

How do you adjust the parking brake on a 1992 Buick Regal?

I had an 88 buick regal and the e-brake pedal on the left front lower part of the driver side compartment was "pump to set". In other words, pumping the pedal and releasing several times is supposed to automatically adjust the e-brake, providing everything is working properly. As with mine, I replaced the rear calipers many times because they were a bad design and always got mucked up back there being so exposed to the elements. Where the e-brake cables attatch to the caliper was always freezing up because of dirt and debris. Make sure your e-brake cables really are good and free, then lubricate the hell out of the spring and attatching assy on the caliper. The calipers need to function properly too. If they are sticking, then it may have an affect on the e-brake assy. It's always best to use the e-brake often, as many automatics w/e-brake are seldom used and freeze up. Good luck.

What is the best oil for a 2002 impala with about 113000 miles?

Castrol is the best brand and synthetic is the best type of oil, but it is expensive for the synthetic. I would use regular 10w30 Castrol and put Duralube in it every 50k miles. Change oil regularly. The Duralube is the every 50k mile.

What can you do to make 2007 impala 3.5 l go faster?

How on earth fast could you possibly want to go that the car won't already do? Mine runs up to 120mph but there is nowhere in this country where that is even close to legal, other than a racetrack, of course. Actually mine has been clocked at 138 mph. Not safe.. not in an Impala. Not even in a police model.

Where is the thermostat located and how do you replace it located on a 2002 Chevy Impala V6?

Follow the top radiator hose down to the water outlet; the stat is in water outlet. Remove air cleaner if it is in the way. I don't drain the rad I just remove the 2-3 bolts holding water outlet in place; coolant will drain the level you need to work at. The outlet may be snug after bolts are removed, nudge it to free outlet cover. Remove cover, old gasket, and stat. Clean sufaces and dry them.Apply a sealer to gasket and install the stat with point facing same direction as old one was. Snug the bolts evenly; do not overtighen them or the housing may crack. Fill with coolant and leave cap off and start car and run for 20 minutes to bleed air out of system. Done. I hope this helps you. Mark

Why your AC wont blow cold air just a little bit when is running?

Based on your abbreviated question, right now I can think of only two causes for the problem First, and probably more common than the second cause, is that your A/C system has developed a leak, and has lost a major part of the coolant [Freon]. That would require that the leak be located and repaired, and an evacuation and recharge of the cooling system. The other possible cause is that the "air blend door" in the plenum box, usually below and farword of the glove box, is not working properly, and is blending in too much hot air. Most modern automotive heating/cooling/ventillation systems "adjust" the temperature of the air into the passenger compartment by mixing hot air [hot coolant from the engine] and very cold air from the air conditioning evaporator core. This is accomplished by a door which changes position in order to provide more cold and less hot air, or vice versa. You adjust the position of the blend door when you set the system control to heat or air conditioning, AND the level of heating or cooling by adjusting the temperature control. Usually, the blend door is operated by vacuum from the engine, and IF there is a vacuum leak, or the hinge pins of the door are sticking, then the air blend door will not respond to the temperature adjustment you set with the controls. Also, it is possible that there has been an accumulation of all kinds of debris [leaves, candy wrappers, plastic shopping bags, etc.] inside the plenum box, which jambs the air blend door. Depending on your skill level, and equipment available, it may be better to have an a/c technician, or a qualified mechanic check out your a/c system.j3h.
