on my 03 tracker, its on top of the motor- right in the middle. goes straight up & down.

Hi, The first part to ask you is yours a 4wd or 2wd? If it is just a 2wd, then all you have to do is remove all your bolt then nudge it loose, don't pry it with a tool as it can be damaged. By the way, I'll take it for granted that you know to drain all your oil firsr? Make sure you have your new gasaket and gasket goop and clean all the surfaces well before you reassemble. All of the info is the same for a 4wd, if your '03 is anything like my '97, you need to disengage the front drive shaft at the universal and when you remove or drop it out of the way, then you'l be able to remove the oil pan. My gasket had to be replaced last year and that's what I had to do. You might want to check the condition of the universal while you have it off and see if it also needs to be replaced, Gofd luck with it. Steve H.

See the answer for the 93 model if you're referring to the rear ones. If you want to replace the front ones, you have to remove the door panels.

Disconnect the fuel punp fuse,then try to start engine. This will stop the fuel pump,and the injectors firing will releace fuel pressure.(the fuel pump fues is under the hood on passenger side buy the power dist. box. It is a 20anp. fuse mounted out side the power box, it should have a plastic cover over it)

It could be the fan motor is stuck. I have a 2001 and the fan motor swelled up with rust and jammed up on the inside of the plastic blade which wraps part way around the fan motor.

A wire is broken, or pulled out of the multifunction switch plug.

turn the round gray part behind the light, remove the wire and pull the bulb out, reverse to reinstall

you have to use the adjustments on the tie rods on each side. as a general rule the front wheels should line up and be paralell with the back wheels, but be sure to keep your streering wheel straight! but to get it right, you will have to put it on a machine. a straight edge that reaches from the rear of the rear tire to the front of the front tire is necessary, and simple way to get it drivable.

To remove front rotors: 2002-ZR-2/ 4WD 1. Do one side at a time and lay parts aside in order of removal for ref. Use safety blocks. 2. Remove lug nut plastic covers,brake lug nuts loose. Raise side to be worked on and remove tire. 3. Remove two small bolts on back of calipers, pull ass'bly up and tie with cord to prevent dropping and damageing. 4. To remove torque plate (which hold calipers) two large bolts are torqued quite tight and will take some effort to loosen.They are located just below the two small ones in step-3.Turn wheel to inside to expose better. 5. Rotor should be free of brake ass'bly now. 6. Pry dust cover off center hub to expose six bolts holding outer hub.Remove the six bolts and tap hub off. 7. Remove the 4-phillip head screws and note their position to the back mounting plate of axle locking plate. 8. Note tightness of axle nut plate via spinning wheel. Remove nut plate to pull rotor off axle. 9. Installation: Use proper torque specs exspecially on large torque plate bolts when re-installing. 10.Note: Depress the caliper piston into its bore before installing over rotor. Now, with all that said. Rotors can be measured and turned while on Tracker.Check before doing all above if this is your situation.

Remove rubber boot. Pull off plug. Twist light bulb 1/4 turn and bulb should come out.

If it is electric, take it off and then take it apart and install the ant.

if this is the wagon, then yes of course the rears fold down. Im not sure about the sedan. Not sure about the speakers....sorry. To get out the rear speakers sorry to say is a pain their is only 2 ways. One is to take out, not kidding the rear seats and remove the shelf. The only other way is to get in the rear and unscrew the screws backwords. Sorry GM did not think this through. To get out the stereo is rather simple just look at the dash and feel for the screws and take all of them out and remove the intire dash face plate. And the seats do not fold down this would be cool thou.

Perhaps catalytic converter plugged?

The 1.6 liter , 4 cylinder , has a timing BELT and the 2.0 liter , 4 cylinder has a

timing CHAIN

If it's a 4wd you have to pull the engine. The haynes manuel said the the front axel can be lowered but when I did mine I found it was easer to pull the engine than to drop the axel. If it's an auto the torque converter bolts are a pain but once you have all 8... yes 8 of them out the rest is easy.

Usaully they'll just pop off. If they don't, take a look at the rotor. You'll see two small threaded holes. Get two high grade metric bolts to fit those holes. Screw them in and use them as you would use a gear puller.
