He should have thought of this a long time ago because you have a right to want to settle down with him and he is simply afraid of commitment, and yes, hasn't had the other experiences of other women, but then again, you probably haven't had other experiences with other men. Did he ever think of that? When I was going with my second husband I had been married and divorced before and he had never been married. We really got along well together. After a couple of years I was like you and decided that if we loved each other then we should commit to each other and get married.
