What is the meaning of portable version?
Portable version; Another type of that same appliance, but able to be moved around. Example; A static phone plugged into a land-line is NOT portable. A mobile phone ran on battery power IS portable. This does not necessarily have to be an electric object, a phone was the first thing that came to mind.
In evacuation do you unplug power bars or just turn off everything?
If you're being evacuated from a building - for whatever reason - you simply leave everything as it is... DON'T waste time turning equipment off !
Mathematician John von Neumann proposed the ALU concept in 1945.
(ALU) is a digital circuit that performs integerarithmetic and logical operations.
How do you delete rooms in whirled?
You cannot delete rooms in Whirled. If you don't want others to see it, remove all links to it, and lock it in the room options (accesed when standing in the room, click the room button on bottom toolbar, click arrange room, and then toggle the locks in the top right corner so only you can enter). Deleting rooms in Whirled is counterproductive, as they cost coins, and I'm not sure why anyone would want to waste their money by throwing the room away. If you really want to get rid of the room, you can gift it (and anything in it) to a friend.
Parallel Ports is a noun. Parallel Ports means a connector for a device that sends or receives several bits of data simultaneously by using more than one wire.

What to do you do if you have CPU usage 80 percent to 100 percent all the time?
Try unloading some applications or if your computer is already really old maybe its time for an upgrade
What is the Tri State of a Signal?
Tri-State: typically the 3rd state of a digital signal, floating (neither driven to a logic 1 or a logic 0).
What is better 2.1 ghz 1mb cache or 2 ghz 2mb cache?
This is a great question, and the answer is undeniably 2 ghz w/ 2MB cache. Take this analogy: You need to move 100 tons of dirt. You have A) A pickup truck and B) a Honda Civic. The Honda Civic is faster, but the pickup truck can move move at a given interval. The "Dirt" is the data trying to process on the CPU; the vehicle is the cache type. The CPU uses the cache to temporarily store information and quickly access it while it's working. It runs extremely fast (multiple gigahertz / second) and is extremely close to the CPU (literally on the same die). If you do not have room on your cache level, the CPU is forced to use the much slower RAM to store its information.
What is peripheral neutropathy?
Peripheral: Beyond (in this case, beyond the brain and the spinal cord.)
Neuro-: Related to the nerves
-pathy: Disease Put these concepts together and this is what peripheral neuropathy means: It refers to the conditions that result when nerves that connect to the brain and spinal cord from the rest of the body are damaged or diseased.
How do you interface external hardware through PC serial port?
Just use any of the compter language, say C,C++ make a program or rather i should say a software and then connect the hardware to the printer port and then execute the program to operate the hardware.
For example make a simple program to glow an LED through the pc, you can even use a micro-processor for the same...
Why register to register instruction is faster?
Register to register addressing mode is faster because you don't have to do an extra memory access cycle or more.
Register to register addressing mode is faster because:
When you are in short supply of something you need. Or when you want something quickly and you know where to get it.
Even though they are much shorter than they used to be on standard typewriters, they still might be a little longer than necessary. In standard typing, the spacebar is hit only by the right thumb. But as you know if you are a touch-typist, the position of the hand changes a little as you type, and you might be approaching the spacebar from slightly different places. Spreading the bar out a little helps to make it effortless.
What is the name of sheikh ahmed bin saed al maktoum wives?

Where did the term RAM come from?
RAM stands for Random-Access Memory. This is because the memory is used and stored randomly.
Here is the Wikipedia article on RAM; it should help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Random-access_memory
What is trusted platform module used for?
The primary scope of a TPM (in combination with other TCG implementations) is to assure the integrity of a platform. In this context "integrity" means "behave as intended" and a "platform" is generically any computer platform - not limited to PCs or just Windows: Start the power-on boot process from a trusted condition and extend this trust until the OS has fully booted and applications running.
Together with the BIOS, the TPM forms a Root of Trust: The TPM contains several PCRs (Platform Configuration Registers) that allow a secure storage and reporting of security relevant metrics. These metrics can be used to detect changes to previous configurations and derive decisions how to proceed. A good example can be found in Microsoft's BitLocker Drive Encryption (see below).
Therefore the BIOS and the Operating System have the primary responsibility to utilize the TPM to assure platform integrity. Only then can applications and users running on that platform rely on its security characteristics such as secure I/O "what you see is what you get", uncompromised keyboard entries, memory and storage operations.
[edit]Disk encryptionFull disk encryption applications, such as TrueCrypt, the dm-cryptfeature of modern Linux kernels and the BitLocker Drive Encryption feature of some Windowsoperating systems, can use this technology to protect the keys used to encrypt the computer's hard disks and provide integrity authenticationfor a trusted boot pathway (i.e. BIOS, boot sector, etc.). A number of third party full disk encryption products also support the TPM chip.
[edit]Password protectionAccess to keys, data or systems is often protected and requires authentication by presenting a password. If the authentication mechanism is implemented in software only, the access typically is prone to 'dictionary attacks'. Since the TPM is implemented in a dedicated hardware module, a dictionary attack prevention mechanism was built in, which effectively prevents from guessing or automated dictionary attacks, while still allowing the user for a sufficient and reasonable number of tries. With this hardware based dictionary attack prevention, the user can opt for shorter or weaker passwords which are more memorable. Without this level of protection, only passwords with high complexity would provide sufficient protection.
[edit]Other uses and concernsAlmost any encryption-enabled application can in theory make use of a TPM, including:
Other uses exist, some of which give rise to privacyconcerns. The "physical presence" feature of the TPM addresses some of these concerns by requiring BIOS-level confirmation for operations such as activating, deactivating, clearing or changing ownership of the TPM by someone who is physically present at the console of the machine.[6][7]
Which program should I uninstall?
you can uninstall any program that you'd prefer not to receive,Uninstall programs that allow you to safely and completely remove unneeded programs and related files from your hard disk.
