Why did Jeff Smith host his first cooking show Cooking Fish Creatively?
In 1973, Jeff Smith began hosting a cooking show called "Cooking Fish Creatively" produced by KTPS-TV in Tacoma, Washington before he became The Frugal Gourmet.
At the start of the show, Jeff Smith said "How do you do ladies and gentleman and boys and girls, I'm Jeff Smith of the Chaplain's Pantry, and this is Cooking Fish Creatively".
Yes. Indian culture is the oldest in the world. India is a country with many beautiful cities, each one unique in it's own way. Probably the best monument in India is the Taj Mahal, built by Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz. The best thing about India is the sheer perseverance of her people and is one of the finest democratic countries of the world.
If you know about the heritage of India then obviously u shud know that India was one of the foremost and most advanced civilisations in the ancient known world. Till today, though it is stamped as a third world country, its administration is still one of the least corrupted in the world, and running a country with the second highest population in the world is no joke. The Rights of Liberty, Fraternity, Sovereignty and Equality is truly there in India, also being a Republican country at the same time.
Very few countries in the world can cope up with all these features. Just for your information, if my memory does not betray me, the Constitution of India has the lenghtiest and the most complex written codes, where the rights of citizens and each law is explained with great accuracy.
India is better than other countries in many aspects for example..
Democracy(anybody can stand in election by representing a party or as an independent candidate), The Panchayat sytem..where the villagers settle the problems without the aid of police or going to court.
The Geographical& Cultural diversity-India is the only place where you can find diverse geograhy like snow covered mountains, tropical rain forests, sandy deserts, hill stations, lonely Islands, plateau etc.. Indian society is strong and united, Indian keep good families(most Indians marry only once in lifetime).
And I am proud to be an Indian

Im cooking chicken over oven but too salty what do you do?
The best way to reduce the salty taste is to serve the chicken with food such as rice, pasta or potatoes, cooked without salt.
Poultry inspection usually means that there is someone in a chicken factory making sure that the chicken which is being processed into food is not contaminated and that everything looks ok with the meat.

Which poultry animal contains the most protein?
well, turkey tends to be the leanest, but that also means that it is sometimes very dry by itself. But, you can find ground turkey in the deli section of most grocery stores, that will have about 28 grams of protein per gram of fat, which is a pretty good ratio. Ground turkey mixed with a little fat-free egg beater, and skim milk and your choice of herbs and spices can make an excellent and very nutritious turkey-patty sandwhich. However, it's best not to judge simply based on protein to fat ratio, replacing some poultry with 'fattier' fish can often be healthier. Consider salmon, it has more like 3 or 4 grams of fat per 28 grams of protein (depending on the cut) but, those grams of fat are largely Omega-3 fatty acids which are not only fat-burning fats that will help you stay lean, but they also are good for your immune and digestive health, will help you balance your hormone levels, and improve you complexion. So, if you don't mind the fishy taste, it might be worth your while to include some fish in your diet as well. Hope this helps! -Matt
It's completely cultural and essentially random. There's no reason that Americans would be unable to eat these things; it's just that historically, American cuisine (which is, sadly, full of processed food, fast food, and lots of oils, fillers and preservatives) stays away from foods that look like body parts or that have slimy textures. I'm sure that there are plenty of cultures that would not readily accept "foreign" cuisines because they simply aren't accustomed to them.
Why are some foods such as chicken and cooked rice called potentially hazardous foods?
Chicken is a healthy and versatile meat. If it is not cooked enough it is potentially dangerous and can cause harmful effects to your health. Any bacteria in fresh chicken will be killed by thoroughly cooking the chicken. However, there are other types that will remain even after cooking. So make sure that you thoroughly cooked your chicken meals before eating. As for rice, it's considered potentially hazardous because it contains moisture and is a low acid food. See related links for an article explaining potentially hazardous food.
Yes it can! I make alot at Thanksgiving and freeze the rest for Christmas dinner and it turns out perfect every time. Just thaw in the oven at 350 degrees for about 30-45 minutes (in a 13 x 9 pan) and add chicken broth to make it moist. Mix well and warm in the oven for another 15 minutes or so. It's alot less hassle doing it this way.
