Pull the front cover off of it, Behind the Crankshaft balancer, The sensor is there. a diagram of how to install a creckshaft sensor.
Hey Kevin==It depends on your engine but I think it is on the fromt by the balancer. GoodluckJoe the crank sensor is on the back of the block above the starter motor It has a green 2-wire connector to it.
not true all you need to do is remove right front tire all the plastic mud guard from wheel well and the sensor will be right in front of you you will need to remove the the torque mount on the engine but that will also be right in front of you....
as for tools you will need a harmonic balancer puller and a few sockets and a torque wrench is a MUST... hope this helps
On most 350's, put both sprockets on then turn them so that the dot on the crank sprocket is straight up and the dot on the cam sprocket is straight down. Remove the cam sprocket, put the chain around it and slip the chain around the crank sprocket while placing the cam sprocket back into position, being careful to maintain the orientation. There were a few years around the late 70's where both dots are straight up. You would know right away when you adjust the valves because you would be assuming #1 was up for compression, and one of the rockers would be down to push the exhaust valve open. Rotate the crankshaft one revolution and readjust the valves.
no the camshaft has nothing to do at all with the transmission. your cams main function is to let air and fuel into the combustion chamber and then let the gasses [exhaust] out.
In some engines the cam sensor only moniters the engine for cylinder misfires.
The part your inquiring about is not on your year model or engine.Unless I missed something it was offered only on the rx7 and 3.0 liter engines for 1988.Easy.
The camshaft sensor is behind the water pump pulley and the crank sensor is mounted just above the crank pulley(dynamic balancer). If the crank sensor is bad . The car will simply DIE. If the cam sensor is bad it will simply not have sequential injector firing and driveability and MPG will be affected.

Answerwhen the water pump pulley is removed you can see a sensor with 3 wires going to it at the top side of the crank shaft pulley. you might be able to see it with a flashlight and a mirror without removing anything. hope that's the right sensor.it is behind the starter. You will have to remove the starter to get to it.
most Chevy cps's are located in the timing cover(behind the balancer). I'm not certain on the Celebrity, but it would be a good place to check.
AnswerOn my 1986 Celebrity 2.5, it is beneath the intake manifold on the back of the engine.el sensor esta localizado encima de la polea del cigueñal a una pulgada por arriva de la polea
on a 1994 it's behind the harmonic balancer
Have the same problem...you need to see if it is a lose solder so you can remove the dash screws and pull out the head or you can see if you have a sensor. Look behind the oil filter and there should be a box with a wire the wire will run back to the speedometer head. Sometimes a quick fix can be to GENTLY push the wires toward the sensor. If none of this works take it in to the Nissan dealer and get it fixed it costs around 150 dollars. Check the fuses in the box they will be labeled cluster interior or dash.b Also check the fuseable links.
The only function of the crankshaft position sensor is to tell you you have a miss fire ( a spark plug did not fire))
The key is in the words. Trottle position sensor. The sensor shows the trottle position is.
Remove engine cover.
Remove plastic cover over injectors.
Camshaft sensor is in front of the oil filler cap, 3 wire black connector.
It's held in by one E-Torx bolt. Remove the bolt and connector and it pulls straight up.
"Yes. its a maf sensor (mass air flow sensor) and it will not let it start it will mostly just crank n crank over or start for a min with spiradic idling n shut off"
Actually, there is such thing as a MAP sensor (manifold absolute pressure) but in some vehicles (especially Chrysler-Daimler) i believe, it can make the vehicle not start.
-adding to- This took me a lot of research, so I hope you appreciate the sharing you can find a link to the actual Daewoo diagram at the following link:
www.daewooautopartspr.com/id15.html (just for the diagrams engine set up Open cover valve diagram the cam sensor is located near the timing belt housing before the #1 spark plug)
Please be careful jacking up the Daewoo as the oil pan in this has what is refered to as a Liquid gasket it is meant to be practicaly perminent and usually does not require removal unless it has experienced some type of impact. On the Camshaft Postioning sensor I had to order one of these straight from Daewoo themselves at cost of $117.00 this came with the directions and list of recalled part. Daewoo will only reemburse you if the part is one of the CMP Lot numbers so check the CMP lot number first (1267-2321) Directions: With the engine off, disconnect the negative side of the battery remove the valve cover spark plug location, disconnect the wire harness from the Camshaft sensor remove the camshaft positioning sensor check with following recalled numbers if it matches in the (1267-2321) codes you need to call Daewoo for the replacement part. (866) 362-1234 (yes that is the real number). Hope these links and information is helpfull. :D
Pictures currently are not allowed. You can get some from [http://www.themotorbookstore.com/index.html Here].
It is under the front of the passenger side cylinder head.
It sounds to me like you have a bad E.G.R. valve... the E.G.R valve is right on the top of the engine. should be pretty easy to get to. if not, it could be you mass air sensor. It would definately be one of the 2... Try the E.G.R valve first though. Probably gonna run you about 100 bucks for it.
