What do you mean by data types?
Data type refers to the kind of data a variable in any programming language can hold.
For example int is used to store integer numeric values. A String is used to hold alpha numeric values.
int i = 10;
String name = "Rocky";
etc.
Each data type has its own characteristics and size.
What is linked organization in data structure?
Linked organization in data structure is the organization of data records that are linked together by references. These links are also known as connectors.
Explain why there is a close relationship between system availability and system security?
System availability is closely tied to the financial health of a company. If customers cannot get access to the company's servers then they can't order products and the company receives no revenue.
Since a company wants its servers to be as available as possible it has to consider problems relating to security. There are security attacks that prey on the availability of the company network, either by exploiting weaknesses or by using techniques such as a denial of service.
In any case, availability is not tied solely to security but it is very large part of it.
What are the different types of capacitors?
Ceramic capacitors, film capacitors, multi-layers ceramic capacitors, electrolytic capacitors, mica capacitors, super capacitors, etc.

Can a basic data type be converted into user defined data type in c?
Yes, but it cannot be done in C as intuitively as it can be done in C++:
struct X {
X (const int i): m {i} {} // converts an int to an X [C++ only]
X& operator= (const int i) { m=i; return *this; } // assign an int to an X [C++ only]
int m;
};
Usage:
X x {42}; // construct X from int
x = 0; // assign an int to an X
In C we must use a conversion function:
struct X convert (const int i) { // convert an int to an X
struct X;
x.m = i;
return x;
}
Usage:
struct X x;
x = convert (42);
Entity integrity, also known as a check constraint, is a database imposed restriction that the value of a field be limited. For instance, you could say that a number can only be in the range of 1 to 100, and the database would not allow you to insert or modify a row to have a value outside that range.
Referential integrity, also known as a foreign key constraint, is a database imposed restriction that the value of a field be contained in the primary key or a unique key associated with another table. For instance, you could say that a programmer's name be contained in a table of employees, and the database would not allow you to insert or modify a row to have a programmer that is not also an employee. In this example, to clarify, the employee table would contain people that are programmers, as well as analysts, managers, officers, etc.
What are the advantages of using XML in data interchanging?
XML file can be used for exchanging data . This is so because in XML file data is stored in form of nodes and sub nodes .Ex Facebook status is stored in one node then there are sub nodes for like, comment and share .
Database is collection of tables. Tables contains the data in rows & columns. The columns are defined with a Name, Data type, Length & few other parameters. The columns is nothing but the field. If you know Microsoft excel, consider a worksheet as a database table. You define a Name to each & every column and you format the cell as General, Date, Currency etc. This is also called as Field name.
Is a logical description of some portion of database that is required by user to perform some task.
"Guided Approach" is an approach proposed by Schmidt, that can be used for teaching office reading exercises. It allows an instructor to emphasize the thirteen component skills that are subsets of the two main skills, verifying and comprehending detail.
2 examples of fields in a database holding details about school pupils?
A Table field is one that stores the data corresponding to one attribute of the table. for a school student db it might be roll number, name, date of birth, grade etc.
Ex:
Name Roll No. Age Grade
John 101 12 5
Julie 102 12 5
Here name, roll no, age etc are fields
How can hotel reservation system minimize time?
A computerised hotel reservation system gives an instant 'picture' of which rooms are booked, occupied or vacant.
Why are none of the measures of variability appropriate for a nominal variable?
A nominal variable is where you assign a number to a category. Imagine a variable called "animal" where 1=sheep, 2=cow, 3=dog, etc. Calculating the average, standard deviation or other continuous measures of "animal" in this context wouldn't make any sense. That is, an average "animal" of, say, 4.567 with standard deviation of 1.234 doesn't mean anything.
You could, however, calculate a mode, which is the most frequently occurring category.

Is a scientific poll official?
Who certifies the results of any poll? Generally it is the polling agency itself, through conducting spot checks on accuracy. No government agency oversees poll results, so there is nothing to make them "official," with the exception of election polls.
Election polls are are not scientific polls, as they are not random samples of public opinion. Instead, everyone eligible to vote casts a ballot. Election polls are the only "official" polls.

What are some examples of a composite attribute?
A composite attribute consists of a group of values from more than one domain. For example, the Address attribute consists of several domains such as house number, street number, city, country, etc.
Difference between greedy method and dynamic programming?
seen then.
Consider this example.
You are standing at a place p. You are to goto q. There are intermediate places C1,C2 ...
You want to minimize distance travelled.
Greedy Method of Solving
You don't want to try all intermediate places. You goto the nearest intermediate place. Why? You feel by going to the nearest intermediate place, you will minimize the distance to q.
Dynamic Programming
You try all the places, but you store the previous result. Eg: To reach C3 in minimum distance, you reached by C1. So you store C1. So if you want to go to C5, by C3, you will goto C1 then C3 and then check if going from C3 to C5 is nearest.
I would suggest you read Intro to Algorithms by CLRS to understand in greater detail.
Your 81 Chevy 2wd truck has a transmission that needs the bands adjusted how would a person do that?
There is no adjustment for the bands on a Chevy automatic transmission. They self adjust as the bands wear.
