Is an alkaline the same as lr6 nimh battery?
No, alkaline batteries are "primary" cells*, and cannot be recharged. NiMH (Nickel-Metal Hydride) are "secondary" cells*, and can be recharged several hundred times. If you have a camera that takes available NiMH cells, they not only save money in the long run, but they perform much better in cameras than alkalines, which have less than 1/2 the life (and then you throw them away) of a NiMH (which you can re-use). I use Sanyo Eneloops, and am totally satisfied with them. They do not hold as much energy as the "high energy" cells, but they don't discharge in the camera in a month, either. I also like the charger that comes with them, which is one of the few inexpensive ones I've seen that will charge a single cell at a time.
*Don't ask me. That's just what they're called.
How does science relate to Photography?
Photography relies on principles of light, optics, and technology determined through scientific research and understanding. Concepts such as exposure, focal length, and depth of field are all based on scientific principles. Advances in science have also driven the development of camera technology, leading to improvements in image quality and usability.
Silver iodide (AgI) is an ionic compound with strong attractions between oppositely charged ions, resulting in a higher melting point. Vanillin (C8H8O3) is a covalent compound with weaker intermolecular forces, leading to a lower melting point. Ionic compounds typically have higher melting points compared to covalent compounds due to their stronger bonding interactions.

What animal uses a pinhole photography to see?
The nautilus is the animal that uses a pinhole-type eye structure for vision. This primitive eye design helps the nautilus sense light and detect predators in its ocean habitat.
When were telescopes used to see and to photograph the planets Neptune Uranus and Pluto?
Saturn was the outermost planet known until William Herschel discovered Uranus in the late 18th Century, so unless you count this as ancient, it would be inaccurate to say that the ancients could 'see' the planets beyond Saturn.
Telescopes are first definitely attested in the early 17th Century. Photography in the modern sense (using a camera to record sharp images on a light-sensitive film, as opposed to more basic forms like the pinhole camera) didn't exist until the early 19th Century.
I'm guessing that your question arises from the (quite sensible) assumption that all of the planets were named by the ancients, but this is not the case. The 'trans-Saturnian' (if you'll pardon the term) planets were named after Greek and Roman deities by later astronomers.
Interestingly, Uranus and Pluto are named after Greek gods, rather than the Roman gods that give the other planets their names. I suppose that 'Caelus' and 'Dis Pater' didn't quite have the same ring to them.
Hope this helps.
Can you use NiCD battery in place of NiMH battery?
Yes, as long as you use an NiCd charger, but you really shouldn't. NiMh has twice the capacity of NiCd and it is less expensive. NiMh also contains no toxic materials so it is better for the environment.
Abstract photography are taken of very dramatic images. It relies on more sense of form, color, and flow than it does on detail. Abstract photography minimalism digital and film photography of places and things from a different perspective.
What is oblique aerial photograph?
An oblique aerial photograph is a type of photograph taken from an aircraft at an angle, rather than directly overhead. This perspective allows for more detailed views of objects and landscapes, making them useful for mapping, surveillance, and other applications.
Describe a time when you came up with a new idea?
Many interviewers ask questions about past experience, new ideas you have had, and problem solving skills. They ask these questions to find out about the person and if they would be a good fit for the company. Answers should be concise and honest as they highlight your skills.
What elements are used in photography?

How can you remove felt tip pen ink from the front of a photograph?
My granddaughter (age 2) drew, with a blue felt pen, all over her aunt's wedding pictures (2 of them). I tried Windex, hairspray and carpet cleaner but nothing touched it. Then I tried a non-acetone nailpolish remover. This did the trick! Worked like a charm. This took all of the ink off and didn't touch the finish (these were professional photographs). I don't know if I would attempt this on pictures straight from an ink-jet printer, though.
What is the change of energy taken in?
The change in energy taken in refers to the difference between the energy absorbed and the initial energy level of a system. It can be calculated by subtracting the initial energy from the final energy. This change in energy is important for understanding how energy is transferred or transformed within a system.
How is chemistry helpful in photography?
Chemistry is essential in photography for developing film and creating prints. Chemical reactions are used to expose light-sensitive materials, such as silver halide crystals in film, to create an image. Understanding the chemical principles behind these processes helps photographers control the look and quality of their photographs.
How long do rechargeable batteries last?
I purchased 4 rechargeable batteries plus battery charger July 2006. I take many photos for my eBay business and have found that in the last few weeks when I recharge the batteries, they only last for a few photos. I thought rechargeable batteries lastest more than 2 years. Can someone let me know the life of rechargeable batteries. Thank you.
Yes, given the vast number of stars and planets in the universe, it is statistically likely that there are other Earth-like planets that have not yet been observed. Many exoplanets may exist beyond our current detection capabilities, waiting to be discovered.
How can you catch someone who you think is secretly taking pictures of you?

What you do first time you use rechargeable battery?
Before using a rechargeable battery for the first time, it's recommended to fully charge it to establish a full cycle and optimize its performance. Make sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions for charging times and methods to ensure the battery's longevity and efficiency.
A photomicrograph is an image that is taken through a microscope to visualize objects that are too small to be seen by the naked eye. This technique is commonly used in fields such as biology, medicine, and material science to study microscopic structures and organisms. The image produced is often magnified to allow for detailed observations.
What does photo shot under incandescent lights to look slightly warm mean?
By warmer, they mean that the color leans toward yellow and orange. Daylight film (or a digital camera set to daylight) are balanced so that light such as you see outdoors or through a window will appear natural or white. This is the wonderful thing about digital: between frames, you can switch the color balance to incandescent (tungsten) so an image taken near an incandescent lamp will appear less yellow. If you shoot raw, then the color balance is not affected until later in your editor.
To demonstrate this, you can take a picture of a person with one side facing a window and the other side facing a table lamp (with a regular bulb - not fluorescent). Shoot one picture with the camera set to daylight and one picture with the camera set to incandescent/tungsten. Then compare. You can take the same shots and play with the color balance in program like Photoshop. There are good examples in books and magazines, but it's good to do it yourself so you know your camera settings.
Watch out for fluorescent bulbs and the kind of lights like you see in gymnasiums. To the human eye, they appear fairly white, but they are changing color and brightness (flickering) at 60 times a second. So you want a shutter speed that is 1/60 or longer to avoid problems. Even then, they aren't really quite white. Most digital cameras have a fluorescent setting to take care of the difference. Some films handle this better than others.
What type of scans give the most high quality images of the soft tissues of the brain?
MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scans are known for providing high quality images of soft tissues in the brain. They offer excellent detail and are commonly used to visualize structures like the brain's gray and white matter, as well as any abnormalities in soft tissues.
How much does it cost to go to school to get an Associates degree for Biology?
The cost of an Associates Degree is going to depend on the state the college is located in, the school itself, and at times the program of study you are taking. That being said, it will still be the best deal in town at a much lesser cost then that of a four year institution. In addition, the community college is a great place to start.
If you are attending the community college that is located within your home county the tuition will be at the in-county rate. If you attend a community college outside of your county, then the tuition is usually doubled. Some community colleges may even have an out-of-state rate.
To give you an example I will use a community college that I know of that is located in New Jersey. The in-county rate is $87.00 per credit. The out-of-county rate is $174.00 per credit. However , the school stopped charging the out-of-state rate years ago. Thus, at the in-county rate (as a full-time student taking 12 credits - four courses), the semester runs approximately $1400.00 plus per semester. Now if you multiply the tuition rate of $87.00 by 12 credits you will find the total doesn't make sense. That's why I said approximately. There are fees other than tuition to include, application fee, registration fee, technology fee, parking, possibly an insurance fee if you do not have health coverage, course fees, activities fee, possible clinical fees if you are in an allied health field etc.
Always apply for Financial Aid regardless of whether you feel you will not qualify. Let them tell you, you do not qualify. Besides, the school will make you apply anyway should you apply for any scholarships or grants. Next, always apply for a scholarship. Don't drive yourself nuts trying to figure out which scholarship you might qualify for. You simple indicate on the application that you are applying for any scholarship you may be eligible
for. The support staff within the Financial Office will then attempt to match your qualifications against all available scholarships. Last resort (if you really cannot afford the cost and you do not qualify for any grants or scholarships), is a guaranteed student loan where you will not have to start repaying until six months after your out of school. Still make this your last resort.
Once again, the cost will depend on the above mentioned variables. You can research all this information particular to any college your have an interest in by going to www.collegeboard.com/splash/ and using the sites College MatchMaker search engined. You can obtain a list of schools particular to your request. It will give you a list of schools, their background, accreditation, programs of study, tuition and fees etc.
I hope this will help you. Lastly, your biggest obstacle is going to be putting off what you should be doing today, until tomorrow. Procrastination will steal your dreams. So, go for it...NOW!!

Put the cap on the radiator and run the vehicle for about 10 miles. Then drain and refill with the appropriate antifreeze.
How does the sky show up colors?
The colors in the sky are a result of the scattering of sunlight by particles in the Earth's atmosphere. Shorter wavelengths like blue and violet are scattered more than longer ones, giving the sky its blue color during the day. At sunrise and sunset, the sun's light has to pass through more of the atmosphere, scattering more colors and creating the vibrant red, orange, and pink hues we see.
