BE SURE TO BE CAUTIOUS WHEN REMOUNTING IF SO...THERE IS NO NEED TO SUPER TIGHTEN IT EITHER AS THE CIRCULAR FORCE WILL KEEP IT TIGHT.

If it is a random thing, and it just dies when you are driving, or idling, and there does not seem to be any 1 thing causing it, then it is the computer. I had to replace mine, after finally getting the shop to just leave my car running until it died. I did this because I had had them look at the car a few times trying to figure out the problem. They left it going for 6 hours before it finally died, but, it did die, and they were able to run diagnostics at that time.

If you were like me and had just changed the fuel filter and fuel pump relay and your fuel pump tests as OK then it could also be two other things -- the mass air sensor wire and/or sensor is dirty or defective. This is located in the air filter collar as it attaches to your throttle body. Another possible cause is a dirty air intake valve. Buy a can on Seafoam intake valve cleaner, folllow the directions on the can, and spray it into the throttle intake as someone else is revving the engine up. This will clean the air intake valve and should solve your problem. Put a bottle of fuel injector cleaner in your tank and top off with premium. disconnect your battery for five minutes (this helps reset the computer) and start her up. The computer will re-adjust itself based on the fuel air mix. Next tank of gas repeat fuel injector cleaner but use mid grade. On third tank go back to regular gas with fuel injector cleaner. This should solve your problem. Also, if you hadn't already, change your air filter.

Raise the lift gate and look on the backside of the taillights. There are 2 phillip screwheads. Remove those screws, pull the light slightly toward the outside of the vehicle, and pull out. When you reinstall them. Insert the tab on the light into the hole which is to the outside of the vehicle and put back in place and reinstall screws. This procedure takes about 5-10 minutes.

Before beginning the 'ALL Monitor Drive Cycle', make sure the Check Engine Light is off and that the car is Cold.
It's best to start this drive cycle after thecar sat overnight.
1: Warm engine up for no less than six(6) minutes. This puts the car into 'Closed Loop', which is needed.
2: Slowly accelerate up to 50mph and keep the speed between 40mph and 60mph without any harsh motions on the pedal for eight(8) minutes.
3: Stop the car slowly, and let it idle for three(3) minutes.
4: Slowly accelerate above 20 mph and keep speed for 22 minutes.
5: Stop car slowly and turn it off. This will run the HO2S monitor which is the final part of the All Monitor Drive Cycle. I usually let it sit for an hour or more to complete this step.
