Looking at the front of the engine, the #1 plug wire on the distributor cap is a little to your right of the middle of the engine. It is the first wire to the left of the front right cap fastener. The #1 cylinder is the front right cylinder, again as you look from the front of the engine, and to your right. On your right side the cylinder numbers are 1-3-5-7 then on your left, 2-4-6-8. On the cap, move clockwise and hook them up in the firing order you have listed. Good luck. They can come either with the limited slip or a open differential. If you cant find any of the original paper work there are two ways to find out. One is to take the VIN number to a dealer and ask them if it does. Another way is to place one rear wheel in a way so that it doesnt have any traction at all. If it has an open differential it will just spin and the Jeep will not move forward. The limited slip will give some traction to the other wheel and Jeep will creep forward. Good Luck.

Fuel filter for 1995 Ram is mounted on top of the fuel pump assembly, which is inside the fuel tank. Most of the parts stores I've called about fuel filter say that fuel filter is "not serviceable". By this, I assume they mean you must replace the entire fuel pump assembly, rather than just replacing the fuel filter by itself. My Haynes manual illustrates removing the fuel filter component for replacement, but getting a replacement filter appears to be problematic, based on what the parts stores said.
