That all depends on the size of the tire, Is it a 36x12.5R16? If so than it will probably fit, you might want to go with a 16x9.5 inch rim or a 16x10, the R size will tell you the height of rim it's designed for.

Remove the wiring harness from the back of your 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 alternator. Remove the belt from the alternator. Remove the alternator retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install your new alternator.

That's funny, but I believe it is screwed right into your oil filter adapter. (Housing) So crawl under her, locate the oil filter and you should see the wire for it. Disconnect the connector and unscrew the sender/switch/sensor. Ummm you may want to change your filter and oil while you are at it, oil will most likly spill out, so atleast have pan ready. The oil pan on a Dodge Ram 1500 with a 5.9L engine is removed by draining the oil, removing the retaining bolts, and lowering the pan from the vehicle. The gasket material will create a strong seal which must be broken before removal.

Yes. Your best bet is to get an axle out of a dually from the same year. If you can get the drive shaft and springs as well. Many 2500's have a Dana 70, while the 3500 has a Dana 80. This will make your drive shaft too long. We just did this and found out the hard way. You will also need an extension on the parking brake cable. The dually fenders are just a bolt on part.

I don't know how long this question ahs been posted, but I have the answer. It is located just to the left of the oil filter as you look under the car. Go to http://www.acura-legend.com (its a forum) and do a search for "how to replace a VSS" there is some great info and DIY's there. .

The head bolts torque in three steps. First torque all the bolts to 36.1 ft/lbs, then loosen all bolts in reverse fashion. Now torque them to 18 ft/lbs. Finally turn all head bolts 90 degrees. The order is essentially from the center two, forward and rear, then working out evenly left and right tightening forward and rear each time. Replace all the head bolts, never using the old ones. The two short bolts go on the passenger side, (last two holes forward and rear on the passengers side). The rod bearing to crankshaft torques at 47 - 51 ft/lbs, however, I had trouble with mine stripping the bolts and ended up replacing all the bolts and nuts. They would strip about 40 ft/lbs. Torque all nuts to 30, then 38, then 47 ft/lbs.

I take it you want to remove the tank to work on the fuel guage or replace the fuel pump. To me, and I have done it both ways, the easiest thing to do is to remove the bed off the truck. It comes off with six bolts and two ground wires. Trouble here is that you need four people to help you set it off. Once off you can easily stand there and take the fuel pump out. And this way can be done with the tank full.

I've tried every tool I have but cannot reach the hose clamp is the intake manifold recess. Is a special tool required?

Just remove the alternator, ac compressor, and their mounting bracket. It will be out in the open then. With an air ratchet this only takes a half an hour.

3.7L, and 4.7L it is under the housing where the lower radiator hose attaches to the engine.

All other engines, it is under the housing where the upper radiator hose attaches.

1.) Insert ignition key

2.) Move the key from LOCK TO OFF, THEN PAUSE,

3.) Move ignition key to ON/RUN

4.) Move ignition key BACK TO OFF

5.) Move ignition key to ON/RUN

6.) Move ignition key BACK TO OFF

7.) Move ignition key to ON/RUN and STOP THERE!

The THREE MOVEMENTS from OFF to ON/RUN should be done in LESS THAN

FIVE (5) SECONDS.

You then read the codes where the truck's odometer shows TOTAL MILES,

NOT TRIP MILES.

you cant, you will have to drill new holes, and place the straps there. for safety reason's you can not take the old bolts out
