Chrysler recommends using Champion spark plugs and gapping at 0.35 (in thousandths of an inch).

Behind the brake fluid resevoiur their is a smaller round resevoiur just remove the cap and fill it to the full mark

you will have to take timing belt cover off and timing belt then the water pump is on the right side you will have to take the back cover loose to but to save you from taking all pullys off just take screws out of cover then you can pull it back enough to take the bolts out take about 6 to 8 bolts off cant remember how many then slide it out and put it back on the way you took it off but make sure you put a new seal in the water pump or it will leak

My talon tsi is still at 150,000 and still runnign strong, proubably 300,000 if you keep it up to date

Many things can cause your CEL to come on. Whatever the cause, it's important to get it fixed as soon as possible to avoid any damage.

I believe it is in the ball park of 14 to 15 psi of boost. That is what my turbo talon run.

Edit:

A stock 1g DSM (Talon eclipse laser) has it set at 9-12 PSI. while the stock gauge says 14 sometimes it should not be trusted. get a aftermarket boost gauge and find out yourself

probably vacuum leak of low cooland level..... you're talking rough idle, right?

If it doesn't idle at all look for a bad IAC or some such thing.

ok i have a 92 talon tsi awd, i had the same issue, it will not idle correctly. After bringing it to goodyear over a dozen times about it, they said it was something internal, so i gave up on them. And after messing will the car and replacing a bunch of the old crappy hoses and clamps, i came across the idle position switch, that is next to the throttle or the piece that you can turn to rev up the engine, and i just decided to wobble it a little bit and the i could hear the engine reving right for a little bit, so i took the piece out and adjusted the nut on it and put it back in and know it idles perfectly. i also hear that poor idling in talons can be caused by the cam angle sensor, the knock sensor, and possibly the throttle position sensor.

There is no difference. Both the Neon and Eagle Talon ESI share the same 420A motor.

its easy, take off the spark plug wires, unbolt the old plugs, place four new ones in, one in each hole, and tighten them down.... simple

ECM is the electronic control module. This runs and monitors the various electrical components and sensors for the engine. This may be located in the console behind the radio, but you will have to consult the particular car's manual for actual location, removal and reinstallation, which is really not that difficult. Electrical connections are at the rear of the unit.

If it's a high pitched whine, it's possible you need to get a shim or two to help it out. No more than four though!

My 95 tsi talon's engine also shakes making it like a roudh idle, therefore causing my belt to squeel...but anyways you might want to check your motor mounts, mine are all good but it still shakes like it wants to die but doesn't. Usually in Talons they have a fuel issue and that's the problem on mine. one of the injectors are either clogged, broke or i don't know man. Oh yeah and check your sparks too MISFIRE is big on makig it shake.

the water pump is located under the timing belt cover. in order to replace it you need to remove the timing belt, i would recommend doing the timing belt while your in there too.

Stock turbo can run close to 14 PSI...but you can increase as much as your turbo can. The engine will not last as long with higher boost. Upgrading internals such as pistons, rods, crankshaft, camshaft, and valves can allow much higher boost.

oversize pistons well of coarse are bigger but you will have to take your block to a machine shop and get them to bore it to the size of the pistons you have best thing to do is take your block and pistons to the shop and let them do that for you depends where you live but to get it bored can average to a $100 or up and if you get oversize pistons you will also need rings to fit the pistons and the other difference in oversize and standard the overside will give you more hp.

I would first check and see if your brake lights come on when you depress your brake pedal. If not, the problem is your brake light sensor located under the pedal. These allow you to switch out of park (which is why you have to push the brake to do so). It's common for them to go out.

most likely the clutch is going. you can try checking to see if there is air in the hydralic lines though, that might take care of it

they will last a very long time well over 200,000 miles if they are maintained good make sure to change oil every 3,000 miles just give it its tune ups
