Can carbon steels be used in lean amine service?
Yes... typically killed carbon steel is used. However, you will need to watch out that your lean amine system is not too lean. You want a level of H2S in there that will allow a protective layer of iron sulfide to lay out in the piping and not be removed. If the lean amine loadings are too low in H2S content, that layer can be removed and it will no longer be protected. In this case be watchful of higher velocity areas. Example: small bore piping, reducers, tees, elbows... pay attention to the flow directions and check your areas of "impingement" with Ultrasonic thickness measurements or profile radiography.
What is the leakage class of control valve?
The Leakage Class of a Control Valve can be: Class I: any rate agreed to by the buyer and seller. Class II through Class IV: range from being a .5% to .01% of full flow Class V and Class VI: These two ranges are fairly tight shut off classifications and are rate in bubbles per minute under test conditions set forth by the NIST. More information about the test conditions and measurement details can be found online.

What is meant by biasing in a single stage ce amplifier?
Biasing in a single stage common-emitter amplifier means to place the base-emitter current at a point where the collector-emitter current is in the middle of the transistor's linear range.
First, you pick the target range and output impedance of the amplifier, picking the collector and emitter resistors. The gain of the stage is collector resistance divided by emitter resistance, limited by available hFe. You want to try to pick a resistor pair that will place the collector voltage in the center of the desired range, while keeping the desired operating current where you want it.
Then, you pick the base resistor divider pair such that the base voltage is the forward bias drop of the base-emitter above (NPN) or below (PNP) the emitter voltage. You find that emitter voltage by considering the collector voltage, along with the operating current and the collector and emitter resistors. (Its straightforward Ohm's law, considering that the collector-emitter forms the third resistor in the divider chain.) You have to consider hFe in this calculation, as well as realizing that the two base resistors will form the input impedance of the stage. (Well, actually, base-emitter current is included in the input impedance calculation, but that is usually a small contribution if the hFe is high enough.)
Then you need to consider the power dissipation in the stage, and make sure that the transistor can handle that, and that hFe will not drift unacceptably under temperature. (Stable designs are such that the hFe is far greater than the ratio of collector resistance over emitter resistance, so that your limits are based on ratio, and not on hFe. Problematic designs are when the desired gain is greater than hFe, such as when the emitter resistance is zero - this makes gain equal to hFe, and introduces the possibility of thermal runaway.)
Electrodes are placed at specific sites on a user's body depending on the physical location of their pain. Soothing pulses are sent via the electrodes through the skin and along the nerve fibers. The pulses (controlled by the user at all times) suppress pain signals to the brain. TENS Machines also encourage the body to produce higher levels of its own natural pain killing chemicals.
Does anyone have a picutre of the Leviton 382 push switch not to be confused with the Leviton 9382?
Yes, I have a picture of one. It's a very nice push switch.
Nd-yag laser in engineering physics?
Nd-yag stands for neodymium doped yttrium aluminum garnet. It's the active LASER media crystal for the optically pumped type of LASER that goes by the same name.

What are the benefits of converting salt water into pure water?
you can drink pure water and irrigate with it. if the only water available is the sea then you would have to convert it
The beam will deflect or bend with the maximum deflection at the center = (wl^3)/(48EI). For a steel beam with 2 inch diameter 10 feet (120 in.) long
l = 120 inches
E = 30 x 10^6 psi
I = .784 in^4
w = load lbs.
Deflection in inches at the middle = w x .0015
so 500 lbs would be 500 x .0015 = .75 inches
If your looking for max load before yield: for 1018 cold drawn round bar yield stress is 53700 psi which gives a max load of roughly 1430 lbs which will deflect in the center 2.15 inches. I would not recommend loading it with this much weight as you will have no factor of safety.

describes the relationship by which the amount of tension generated in the wall of the ventricle (or any chamber or vessel) to produce a given intraventricular pressure depends of the size (radius and wall thickness) of the ventricle.
What is the difference between a terminal moraine and a recessional moraine?
The terminal moraine is the sediment deposition furthest from the source of the glacier. It is also known as an end moraine, however depending on recession or advancement of the glacier, the end moraine is not always the terminal moraine. Lateral moraines are lines of sediment deposited along the outer walls or boundaries of a glacier and can run from the top of the glacier down to its end.

How do you build a model bridge using balsa woods?
1 - First you must specify the length and width and height of the bridge.
2 - Make a map of the bridge.
3 - to draw maps of various parts of the bridge.
4 - Put the paper on balsa wood and cut wood.
5 - cut wood with wood glue to attach.
6 - be careful when designing a bridge where there is more power to choose the stronger of the wood.

What is the composition of grease?
Grease is basically an oil combined with a thickener. The oil lubricates, while the thickener makes the oil "stick" to the parts needing lubrication.
