How do species remain distinct from one another?
Once species have truly become distinct, members of the two species are no longer able to successfully breed with each other and produce fully viable offspring.
This may be as little as a physical separation that prevents contact (e.g. new mountain ranges, isolation on islands), to changes in pheromones that individuals produce so that individuals of the two species are no longer attracted cross species even if they encounter each other, to as much as the development of complete genetic incompatibility (e.g. different numbers of chromosomes in the two species).

Scientists have found some sort of bone at the side of the snake's skin which could mean snakes had legs once and they evolved to lose them. The Bible says they used to have legs. In the Bible it talks about a Garden of Eden. The story of the garden might be in symbolism because it said that the snake lost his legs and evolution said the same thing.
Some people believe that in the Bible each day is about millions of years. This could be true but some people don't agree because in the Bible it said that God made the sun after the plants and plants need sun light and if one day was millions of years then the plants would die. Plants had light because it said in the Bible that 2nd day God made light. Then the plants would have light if light came before plants. The Bible also talks about a big bang where it says the heavens will make big noise. In Greek that means a big bang. Our big bang already happened.
Also scientist say we are made out of star dust and the Bible say the same thing. The Bible says god made us out of dust. In the Bible, it said that the heavens' are divided in 3 parts. 1st heaven is the sky on earth, 2nd heaven is space, 3rd heaven is where God lives. Today the universe is expanding. The Bible does not spell out the particulars of how or even whether life evolved. Natural selection would be the factor at play here. Animals with the advantageous body color that allowed them to better hide from predators would have a higher chance of surviving and reproducing, passing on this trait to their offspring. Over time, the population would shift towards individuals with this beneficial body coloration due to the selective pressure from predators.

A transitional fossil is any fossilized remains that exhibit traits to both an ancestral group and its derived descendant group. The phrase "Missing Link" has been used extensively in popular writings on human evolution. Scientists do not use this term as it refers to a pre-evolutionary view of nature. One will often hear this term by pseudo-scientists to dazzle and awe their audience explaining Intelligent Design.

Which opinion is more popular- evolution or creation?
It is very clear that the universe is billions of years old - all evidence points this way. Even the Jewish nation of Biblical times accepted an old earth - far older than Genesis suggests. However, an old universe and the formation of life through an evolutionary process does not mean that God is not necessary. On the contrary. It suggests that there is a driving force within life itself, made up of the physical laws necessary for the evolutionary process, and an interaction within those forces that culminates in a pinnacle of Creation, humanity, that has a spiritual dimension i.e. made in the image of God the creator.
Nor does the acceptance of some form of evolution mean that evolution has been completely understood - it simply hasn't. In simple terms, the Anthropic Principle dictates that the initial parameters and constants laid down (such as the size of the gravitational constant, the mass of an electron and hundreds of other fundamental constants of the universe) are such that life can exist. Even the slightest fluctuations either way of any of these constants would mean that life could never evolve. It seems that the universe has bent over backwards to allow us to exist. And what is more, the same physical laws keep the universe fine tuned to ensure that life thrives. Therefore, within a framework of evolution and science, there seems to be not simply 'room' for a Creator but a necessity for a Creator. However, this is not a simplified version of Creator conjured up by the Creationists but the real, eternal Creator, God, as described in Genesis, who created the universe and continues to take part in that creation, through his laws and his intervention, theough the Holy Spirit, within our lives.
