Which shoulder do you throw the salt over?
It is believed the "devil" stands over the left shoulder of a person. As salt was once considered a symbol of wealth and prosperity, spilling it is thought of as wasteful and a means to tempt the "devil" into taking it from you. Throwing salt over your left shoulder is supposed to "blind the devil" into not seeing the opportunity to reduce your material wealth.
Technically speaking no one actually knows whether or not Atlantis was real. However it was said to be a lost civilization that was to be far more advanced then the world today. Atlantis was said to be a whole continent. Supposedly, the Greek god Poseidon (god of water) was angry at the city and so submerged it. But what is mysterious is that Atlantis was thought to be in the Bermuda Triangle(the graveyard of the ocean). The Bermuda Triangle is a triangle with points made up of three cities Miami, San Juan PUERTO RICO and Bermuda. It is said that thousands of vessels have disappeared in the Bermuda Triangle; without a trace! Maybe it's the city taking it's revenge on the world but no one will ever know. Instead it will remain a mystery...

To be honest Atlantis was not sunk by Poseidon since Atlantis was his creation and it worshipped only him, from what i have gathered from documentary's and books Atlantis had become such a marvel that the other gods became jealous that Poseidon had made such a perfect creation and they hadn't so they punished Atlantis by sinking it into the sea since they could not punish Poseidon

That silicon could possibly be the basis of an alternate bio-chemistry. In fact the 'organic' properties of Silicon are severly limited in comparison to Carbon and require very special and limited conditions to be valid in.

What is conflict in the story kaffir boy?
In the memoir "Kaffir Boy" by Mark Mathabane, the main conflict arises from the oppressive system of apartheid in South Africa, which perpetuates racial segregation and discrimination. The protagonist faces internal conflict as he struggles to reconcile his aspirations for a better future with the limited opportunities available to him as a black person living under apartheid. Additionally, there is conflict within his family as they grapple with poverty, violence, and the desire for a better life.
Ivy is sometimes considered to have gloomy associations with graveyards and old ruins; some people think it unlucky to have it indoors at any time other than Christmas as it would bring ill tidings and misfortunate, presumably upon the homes owners. Its leaves were used in a divination on 'Twelfth Night' or Halloween. Supposedly if they were left overnight in water, and if next morning black spots or coffin-shaped markings had appeared, someone in the household would die that year.

Why do you see often the time 1111?
Its not so much that you see it any more frequently than any other time... it does, after all, only occur twice day (or only once, if your on military time). However, we are more likely to remember having seen a number like 1111 because of our brain's tendency to pay attention to patterns.
Since there is no time 2222 (unless you're on military time), 3333, or 0000 (again, unless your on military time), 1111 strikes us as being "unusual" when really, its just pure chance. Its sort of like asking a random number generator to give us a list of 9 numbers. We don't really notice 456214582 or 751239564 or 957421368. But, we're DEFINITELY going to notice when it gives us 123456789. That list is just as random, statistically speaking, but has meaning for us and so seems unusual.
What are the examples of superstition?
Here are some:
It's bad luck to spill salt, step on a crack, break a mirror, have a black cat cross your path, walk under a ladder.
Somebody will die if a bird flies into your house.
If you say certain words, whatever you're talking about will be a jinx and the opposite will happen.
You can't win unless you wear your lucky shirt, eat your lucky meal, carry your lucky charm, perform your lucky ritual.
Do legends influence nation building?
Legends can influence the building of a nation. The problem is, inexperienced legends who are merely figureheads cannot maintain a nation.

Alas, there is no strong evidence for the existence of fairies. The most famous evidence was the Cottingley photographs which were championed by Arthur Conan Doyle. These were taken in the early 1920s by two young girls. In 1981, they finally confessed that they had faked the photographs. They said they didn't want to admit they had faked them because it would make Conan Doyle look foolish.
Another ViewOne day when I was at home I saw these sparkling lights flying all over my back yard, but they weren't fireflies because fire flies don't glow a pinkish red glow and FIREFLIES DON'T HAVE HUMAN FACES so that proves they are real!
Another ViewBelief in fairies harms no one, not even the believer.

Where do you find the rainbow with the gold pot at the end of it?
Realistically, There is no end to a rainbow, for the reason that a rainbow is a circle of continuous light.
Unrealistically, a leprechaun hide gold at the end of a rainbow, at the time no one knowing that there is no end to a rainbow. Why gold? It was a pot of gold because gold was a precious metal and Ireland has no gold, unless imported. Gold being higher than silver in the market. A pot of gold meant lot of $$$
