There's one low pressure fuel pump in each fuel tank, and one high pressure fuel pump on the frame rail.

there is no air temp sensor . There is n air charge sensor. Its next to the # 1 cylinder on the passenger side of the engine compartment. installed on the top of the intake manifold. It is behind the hoses that come out of the thermostat. not in front of those hoses, that would be your coolant temperature sensor. Its the one behind the little coolant tem hosesgoing to the heater core. Wish someone could help me............................

There are two different transmissions in that van. 4R70W and E4OD. Both are controlled by the PCM and all power comes from the PCM power supply. There is no fuse for the O/D system. The only fuse remotely involved is the 5amp fuse #20 in the inside fuse panel. This fuse supplies power to the O/D cancel switch button. It sends a voltage signal to the PCM when you press the O/D button. When the PCM gets that signal input, it makes the decision to send power to the appropriate solenoids in the transmission to make whatever adjustment in the transmission you are requesting. There is no direct connection from that button to the transmission in anyway. You are not actually controlling O/D fuction when you press the button.The PCM handles all transmission gear changes, and when you press the button, you are asking the PCM to make a O/D function change.

get an engine diagnostic scan to verify the vans problem. it may just be a tune-up, or a sensor, or something else.

because your have a short in the circuit or wiring. check your ground wire first. are they corroded. or hanging loose. There is a short (wires touching metal) in the wiring somewhere between the brakelightswitch (above the brake pedel) and the brake lights. Could also be a bad brakelight switch (shorting out).

Remove the bulb!

Not to familar with it but I have changed a heater core and it requiers pulling out almost the whole dash assembly down to the firewall and it is located on the passenger side. You also have to remove a hand full of things under the hood but that van has a tight engine bay and it would be difficult. I know the console in that van comes out to access the engine but how much room you will have is the question. I know shops charge a a pretty penny somewhere lik e $1500ish. Good Luck

That depends entirely on which engine and which radiator options you have.

Ford says the 5.4 liter V8 engine is ( 330 cubic inches )

They just clamp on. If you can change a radiator hose, you can do it. Just get the hose from a dealer & use the same clamps.

On a 1998 Ford E-150 :

The fuel pump shut off switch ( inertia switch ) is in the front passenger

footwell by ( or behind ) the kick panel

* the kick panel is the interior trim panel in front of the front door , beside the

passengers right foot *

The keyless entry module, on your Ford automobile, is located in the engine compartment. The module is bolted to the firewall.

You can put in any grade motor oil but I use 10 - W 30 in my 1992 E-150

The low side is located on the left side of the engine close to the blow motor and should have a blue cap.

I'm pretty sure mine (a '94) has a 32 gallon tank.

What type of engine? v8, v6, etc. What size engine? 5.0L, 5.8L, etc. Does it have an air conditioner? There should be a diagram on the top of the grill ( where the hood opens ). This should be a big help, as it is a picture of which direction the belt goes. There is a spring loaded tensioning pulley that you have to relieve the pressure on the belt to get it off or put it on. It has a square hole in it to accept a socket handle. Also, use rubber bands to hold the belt onto the pulleys, as you progress from pulley to pulley. As soon as you start the engine, the rubber bands break

check out autozone.com, they have free online manuals. you can print out fuse box diagrams and component locations. Its an all around good site.

I believe that it is under the drivers side, about midway down the vehicle, attached by a plumbing style clamp just inside the frame rail. Start from the fuel tank and slide forward towards the front of the vehicle and watch for a cylinder about the size of a 16 oz can of peaches. There should be a hose retention clamp on either side of the filter that just slips off. Fairly easy to change out if you can fit under the vehicle. Best regards,

Check your ignition coil. You have two. one on left bank and one on right bank. if one is bad car would not have any power but maybe idle fine. Might only go 20 or 30 miles per hour. Also would cause cat converters to glow red.

You can try to turn the key left and then turn back to right for disable the alarm
