I already have the original manual but the manual does not show the wire colours, and the harness has been cut off.

I need to see the colour of the wires so that I can rebiuld a new harness.

Normal load front = 2.2 (32)

Normal load Rear = 1.8 (26)

Full load front = 2.5 (37)

Full load Rear = 2.8 (41)

If you are locking your car before trying to take off the cap, this is the problem. The cap won't come off if the car is locked.

Replace {Thermostat}, It is in a closed posistion and is unable to open.

Another cause as with the Futura (1.3 Fiesta year 2000) is a valve between the heater and engine, the Thermostat shows normal operating therefore replacement is not needed.

My first guess would be that your thermostat is stuck open,not giving the coolant a chance to warm up (the warm air comes from the coolant or water in the engine being circulated through the heater core)My next suspect would be the vents that open and close to send either warm or cool air into the vehicle are not opening and closing as they should. This could either be a vacuum or electrical problem depending on the vehicle. Good luck, mannsvillain

Under the actual indicator. There are 5 screws holding the steering column cover together, remove them (all underneath the column) then under the indicator you will see the relay switch (black box thingy)

Why do I know? I have a fiesta mk4 and the relay has gone, resulting in no indicators at all.. not even on the dashboard.

The 2011 Ford Fiesta runs on regular unleaded.

This question should be more specific. Better in what regards fuel economy, safety, longevity, and so on. Right now it is a question of personal preference. Personally I would own neither.

turn key off and then on , leave it in run not start position, at the same time hold brake and gas pedal for 20 seconds it will reset the oil light ..

High-Level brake lamp bulb change.

Open the hatch back.

Remove the two rubber grommets behind the stop lamp.

Insert the flat blade of a screwdriver into each hole and press down the spring clip. The light unit will pop out of its seat.

Close the hatch and change the 16W wedge fitting bulb.

Click the light unit back into place and replace the two rubber grommets.

Easy when you know how!

I have a Mk6 (2002-08) Diesel Fiesta, and the Cambelt needs doing every 10 years, but my Haynes manual recommends changing it every 5 years if it is subjected to stop-starting city traffic or short journeys. I think the petrol version is the same to the best of my memory, if you have the Mk6.5 or the Mk7, then it won't be old enough to need it yet, but otherwise you might want to stick to the recommendation and get the cambelt fitted at its next service.

When the Cambelt goes, the engines timings mess up and it explodes, so its a write off, so it really isn't a great idea to gamble.

Every new owner asks this 'cos it isn't what you'd expect and the question has been asked here dozens of times. Here again is the answer...

The oil filter on the 1.4tdci is mounted on the right-hand side of the engine block (as you look in under the bonnet) and is in a black plastic housing which unscrews to expose a replaceable paper element filter. The filter housing points upwards at a slight angle, and looks like a fat black bottle with a hexagonal cap.

To get at it, first remove the front section of the air pipe which passes over it. This section of pipe can be taken out by removing the single screw and flexing the end of it out of the bracket above the radiator, then twisting and pulling it out of the connecting collar next to the air-filter.

You do not list the year. Unless you are talking about a Fiesta built in Europe that is fairly new, it does not have a Cabin Filter. The smell you are smelling is more than likely mold or mildew growing inside the vents. Very hard to remove. Search Google with the term "Odor from dash vents" for advice on how to remove it.

Yes. As I recall, the 88 is carb, the 89 is either carb or F.I., and 90+ are all F.I.

Not sure about other countries but the Fiesta has represented excellent value for money in the UK since 1976 and is one of the best selling small cars. There is an engine and trim range to suit every taste with the diesels being particularly popular. The Zetec S TDCi diesel seems to be the best blend of performance and economy but all versions are equally good.

The power is delivered alot more smoothly compared to a turbo where the power all comes at once.

This is usually near the headlights. You can find it and then turn it on to make night driving a little easier.
