Stuck drums happen regularly on cars and is one of those real curssed type things! When it does, the word easy is not one that comes quickly to mind in relation to it. Frequently by the time your done, other words will. Make sure you back off the adjusting star all the way - even releasing hydraulic bleeder can help. Bang, bang, bang. Liquid Wrench (especially if the studs are through the drum). Various pullers (there are some common ones that can fit many wheels). This is not a time for restraint...fact is drums are cheap and may not be able to be turned (warped, worn, rusted, etc) anyway.

There is 3 relays #1 is located behind the glove compartment on the right, #2 and #3 are on the inside fender wall in the relay box on the passenger side of the vehicle. All of this info is in the original service manual. I only know this cause I just bought one and I can't get it started, Ican't seemto get the pump to work.

The coolant temp sensor wire comes from the firewall area. An easy way to make the temp sensor work if you can not find it is to connect the sensor directly to the battery. The sensor uses wireless technology to send its data. It might take an hour or more of driving for the sensor to reset before it starts sending data to the computer.

I have the exact same problem. There are 4 under the hood on top of the fender, 3 above the tire in the wheel well, 2 behind the headlight, 1 you have to open the door and get an extention the bolt is at the top of the fender in the gap of the door, and then there's one down by the mudflap that I can not find, so if you find it, please let me know. :)

A clicking noise is not a common sound for a bad ring and pinion or axle bearings. Use electronic chassis ears (denlors ste6600) to help pinpoint the source of the noise. U-joints in the driveshaft could make a clicking noise although it should click or make more noise on acceleration. I know you said it didn't, but listen REALLY carefully, and if it's still there when you are hitting the gas it could be your struts or your wheel bearings.

take a screwdriver and remove the covers on the side of the console unit these should just snap on and off now remove the hex head bolts that hold the arm rest to the unit seems like 8mm hope this helps

Its on the Receiver Drier. You can find a good spec drawing on the website below. Just click on the "Locate low side port" and follow the instructions.

Assuming you mean the clutch won't disengage and the system has been bled properly, the pressure plate may be damaged or the clutch disc is installed backwards (if the clutch was just replaced). Also, with some vehicles the clutch master cylinder has to be bench bled before installation.

It has two busted gears, Either get a transaxel rebuild kit and do it yourself, Or get a new transaxel. alot cheaper to do it yourself.

I was looking at motorcraft.com , and it lists 3 different part numbers for the front

disc brake rotors on a 1994 Ford Ranger with the 4.0 L - V6 engine

Motorcraft BRR39 for 2 wheel drive

Motorcraft BRR36 for a 4 x 4 with all gear ratios EXCEPT 3.45

Motorcraft BRR40 for a 4x4 with 3.45 gear ratio ( that would be axle code 84 -

conventional axle with 3.45 gearing )

The information sticker on the end of your drivers door should show the axle code

On a 1996 Ford Ranger , 3.0 liter V6 :

Check the Vehicle Emissions Control Information ( VECI ) decal , located in the

front of your engine compartment ( it will show the type of spark plug to use

and the spark plug gap )

One indication that the starter is going bad in your vehicle is if the vehicle won't start but the battery is full of life. When the starter is the reason, a very audible click will be heard.

If you don't see any gas leaking or smell gas : In the right front passenger footwell , near the kick panel , you will find the fuel pump inertia switch - push the button down that has popped up on the top of the switch Turn your ignition key to the run position for a few seconds , turn the key to the off position , check for any gas leaks or gas smell - if none start the vehicle
