The oil capacity on a Honda Rancher 420 is to quarts or four pints. Honda recommends using 10 W 30 motor oil.

A Rancher ES Should have a lever in the storage compartment to manually shift gears with.

The fuse box is located directly behind the battery. It is a box about 1 1/2 by 3 inches in size. There is an access panel held in place with two screws that must be removed to see it.

first you take the alen key sockets off the left case. you have to top off the piston by lining up the marks . there should be a T on the magneto when your turning over the motor . line it up with that. take the valve cover off . the cam gear there will be two lines .line those up exactly with the edge of the head .then slide the timing chain on the gear . while makeing sure the lines are still lined up.put the valve cover back on . make sure there is enough oil in the resevor and start it up . it should start right up

if you mean four wheeler as in atvs they can be drifted fairly easy on grass/mud all you do is come up to the turn with decent speed and just hit the back brake and stear it around the turn then give it gas out

i recommend 10W40 though.

The wiring of all 150cc GY6 ATV quads are very similar if not exactly the same. I have a Hensim 150cc quad and couldn't find a wiring diagram. after releasing the clutch and taking off the banshee will go from mid range to high range rpms that's the power band kicking in. when the power band kicks in it will take off like a rocket. after you hit the power band you have about a second or so to shift. after pulling the clutch in and lifting up on the foot shifter it will go from low rpms to high rpms again and so on and so forth

There is no need to remove the top end of the engine...

Remove the gas tank cover. There are three separate pieces but it will come off in one piece. Remove the gas tank and plastic cover under the tank. Remove the spark plug. Remove valve cover. On the right side of the engine near the rear brake pedal there is an inspection cap that you will need to remove using a 6mm Allen wrench. Using the back up recoil starter, turn the engine over slowly until the "T" is in line with the arrow on the crankcase. This will be top dead center and the correct spot to do the valve adjustment from. Make sure that it is at TDC on the compression stroke by wiggling the rocker arms. If either is tight then you are 180 degrees out from TDC on the compression stroke. Rotate the engine with the recoil until the mark realigns with the arrow. Note: the arrow is more of a triangle shaped piece of the crankcase. The valves are adjusted using a flat head screw driver. The jam nut on top has too be loosened before making any adjustments and after. After setting the valve lash rotate the engine over 360 degrees back to TDC and recheck the valves. Valve clearance should be set at .

This must be done while the engine is below 90 degrees. If any of this does not make sense then it may be a good idea to let someone that has previous Honda experience do it for you.

This is a tough question to answer considering you didn't give any more information than "wet". Wet could mean driving through a sprinkler or it could mean driving through a river. If you are simply riding through small mud puddles and water no higher than say 8"-10" then perhaps you could be getting water in your electrical connections. Try unpluging the 5 or 6 plugs in between the front suspension and putting some dielectric grease in the connectors then plug them back in. There are several more plugs in front of the right rear tire. Do the same with them. However, if you are riding in very deep water then perhaps you have bigger problems. If you take an air-cooled engine from 350-400 degrees and shock cool it to 100 degrees in several seconds time then you are stressing that engine to a point that you could do catastrophic damage to the engine. Metal greatly expands and contracts with heat and can warp or crack with sudden temperature changes. With shock cooling it is common that an engine will momentarily stall then recover in time. If you get too deep in the water and get water in the airbox and into the cylinder it will stall and quit. DO NOT try starting the engine as water will not burn, will not pass and is not compressable. You will simply have bent valves, cracked head and need a top end overhaul at the very least. To avoid this remove spark plug, turn off fuel, turn engine over until all water is removed, re-install plug, turn on fuel and re-start.
