What is grundig worth?

Unfortunately Grundig no longer exists, it is now just a name put on cheap rubbish.

Why do people say all Germans are Nazis?

Out of spite or ignorance or both. People who know Germany do not say that kind of thing. Even in World War 2 it was notthe case that "all Germans [were] Nazis". In some countries the media tend to make a huge fuss about any neo-Nazi activity in Germany, without providing any indication of the scope or significance of the group(s) involved.

When does the school year officially end in Germany?

Answer: The school year starts after the summer break (different from state to state, usually end/mid of August) and is divided into two semesters. There are typically 12 weeks of holidays in addition to public holidays. Exact dates differ between states, but there are generally 6 weeks of summer and two weeks of Christmas holiday. The other holiday periods are given in spring (usually around Easter Sunday) and autumn (the former "harvest holiday", where farmers used to need their children for field work). Schools can also schedule two to three three special days off per semester.

What spanish city was bombed by Germany?

During the Spanish Civil War, German volunteers called the Condor Legion fought on the side of the Spanish fascists. The Condor Legion consisted of members of the German army (the Wehrmacht) and the German air force (the Luftwaffe). The participation of the German airman and their modern aircraft on the side of the Falangists was the deciding factor in the war. The Loyalist side didn't have a modern air force and the Condor Legion quickly established air superiority and readily exploited the huge advantage it gave them in ground battles.

The Condor Legion bombed the Spanish city of Guernica on April 26, 1937, this was the first time airplanes committed what would later be called "saturation bombing" of a civilian population (the Germans attempted to bomb British cities in WWI but they didn't have enough aircraft and WWI aircraft didn't have the bomb capacity to be more than a nuisance - the Germans had a bit more success with Zeppelin attacks but this was short lived - the British devised the incendiary bullet which made the Zeppelin's - filled with flammable hydrogen - death traps.) Guernica had neither defense again air attack nor shelters for the population. The attack became the focal point of Loyalist propaganda, they claimed over 1,600 civilians were killed and that it showed the ruthless barbaric nature of their opposition. In truth, approximately 300 people were killed and both sides were guilty of atrocities, larger and smaller, throughout the war.

Probably the best known reference to this event is Pablo Picasso's painting "Guernica". At the time of the bombing, Picasso was already working on the painting which represented the impact of the war on the Spanish.

Small correction; the Wehrmacht was NOT the German army (although it's a common fallacy). The Wehrmacht was the unified armed forces: consisting of the Luftwaffe (air force), the Kriegsmarine (navy), the Heer (army) and the SS.

What country was the first to use Gas As Weapon?

(germany) <----- that would be incorrect.

  • The first evidence of a "gas weapon", excluding chemically created fire shooting weapons (for ancient flamethrowers - whole other topic), dates back to about 250 AD. The Persians would dig tunnels slightly lower than the Romans', put sulfur in underground, controlled fires in order kill the Romans in the tunnels above (as the gas would obviously rise). The burning of sulfur would release sulfur dioxide, a very toxic gas.
  • The most concrete evidence, however, of a "gas weapon" is actually by the Korean. Earliest documentation of a very powerful ship is set in the early 15th century. The Koreans constructed the "Turtle ship". They were later extremely successful in wars, most notably the Battle of Sacheon in 1592. On the front of the ship there is a very large dragon head. This served not only as decoration, but also as a deadly weapon. It acted as a fire pit and they would toss sulfur in the fire whenever they had the chance (whenever the wind was blowing toward the enemy (Japanese) ships).

(If you're interested in seeing a very well though-out war machine, type in turtle ship in a search engine and read up on it. Completely sealed off from invaders gaining access to the inside of their boats and those aboard (spiked top), 26 canons set at different ranges, ~130 people on board, chemical weapon, used for about 4 centuries)

What country first owned Germany?

Until about 1793 Germany was a patchwork of about 365 more or less sovereign states. Most were very small indeed, but at the other end of the spectrum there were two European great powers, Austria and Prussia. After the Napoleonic Wars the number of states was reduced to 39, and in 1866 the exclusion of Austria paved the wave for German unification in 1871. (This is a much simplifed account). Germany was not 'owned' in the sense of being a colony.

Will Germany start another world war?

Nearly impossible. Their economy is inextricably linked to that of all other European Union states. The very purpose of the European Coal and Steel Community was to link these industries, which were essential for producing arms, so no country could unilaterally re-arm.

They are also a largely pacifist country. Its in their constitution that the army is not allowed to deploy aggressively.

Any right-wing government with fascist tendencies could be stopped with the use of sanctions.
