Who are "Other Germans"? Other works only based on a referential.
If "other" refers to individuals not directly affiliated with the Nazi Party, then you have a mixed bag. Anti-Semitism was quite normal in Germany prior to the Rise of the Nazis, but it was not something that would have led to mass violence without someone to instigate. Of course, there were also a minority of Germans (still large numbers, but a minority) who did not harbor any feelings towards Jews or actually tried to help them and sympathized with them.
Why was Hitler so popular in Germany?
Hitler was popular because the Treaty of Versailes, introduced by the victorious Allies at the end of World War 1, forced Germany to pay compensation to all of the countries it had been at war with, which left Germany, already shattered by war, with a huge debt, and no way to aid its citizens.
At one point, the mark (the German version of the dollar) was worth so little that the price of a loaf of bread was measured in millions of marks.
Hitler, at the time, was in jail for trying to assasinate the current government leader and take command through a rebelion, had been a sergeant in World War 1.
When he was released from jail, he gave the German people someone to channel their anger at: the Jews and the Allies. He pronounced that the Jews were pigs and responsible for dragging the society down, and that the German people were the most perfect race on earth. He had a dream of a "Third Riech", which he said would last for 1,000 years (Germany would rule the world for 1,000 years).
The people saw Hitler as a way to prosperity, and followed him without question. They did prosper for some time during the war, more or less the first half, but as Germany started to lose the war, life became harder and harder on the German people.
When the Allies were victorious, they learned from this lesson, and though the Soviets, who were still resentful of the horrible treatment of their people by the Nazis during the war, treated the Germans in the half of the country they had conquered very poorly, the rest of the Allies sent in aid to the German people on their side of the imaginary line between East and West Germany, which was eventualy made a physical reality with the Berlin wall (on which construction began on August 13, 1961).
What do Americans eat for breakfast lunch and dinner?
I'm American. Since the country has MANY different cultures within it, we eat everything. We have millions of restaurants here that offer many different cuisines, although the grand majority of them are the "American version." Mexican, Italian, Greek, Ethiopian, hamburger joints, fast food places, Spanish, Brazilian, etc. restaurants can all be found within the same city. As for what people eat in their homes, again, there are so many cultures and races that it's a broad spectrum. I would say the stereotypical Caucasian family for dinner would probably eat something like: some kind of meat or fish with two entrees, usually consisting of something like pasta, potatoes, rice or beans, and a vegetable second entree.
Year that Hitler became leader of Germany?
Depends on the definition of "comes to power." If that definition means when he officially took power then 1938 is the year you want. If you want the year he consolidates his power and achieves a totalitarian state, then 1941 is the year you want
Who killed Manfred von Richtofen?
There has been a number of investigations over the last 20 years as well as countless books on "Who killed the Red Baron". Although A. Roy Brown claimed he had hit the Red Baron's plane and he went down as Brown turned to fly away and leave the scene, the Baron continued to chase Brown's friend, Lt. May for over a mile or more until ground fire from Australian infantry shot him down. There were several machine gunners and numerous individual solders on the ground that poured lead into the air trying to bring the Baron down. The Red Baron was killed by one 303 caliber round that struck him on his right side, apparently hit his heart and exited slightly below his left nipple in his chest. The Baron managed to land the plane without crashing it, but died shortly after he touched down. No one can really ever prove who killed the Baron, but being that only ONE bullet hole was observed on the right side of his plane that lined up with the wound in his body, its quite possible that an individual rifleman in the Australian infantry brought down the Baron.
No matter who shot him, he was quite dead.
I'm sorry if this is redundant, but there have been a number of questions there are the same as this question. So I copied and pasted my answer.
