There is a snap ring that fits onto the handle itself. A flat screw driver, steel ruler or similar "tool" slid between the handle and door liner will allow you to release the snap ring from the shaft that holds it onto the handle. "cheaper" brake pads glaze quickly, which in turn glaze the rotors quickly, glazing causes poor friction surfaces......almost a glass finish to the surface of the rotors and brake pads. when the clamping force of the caliper is applied to the pads there is slipping and vibration caused by the glazed surfaces...... i.e.if you run and try to stop on freshly polished hardwood floors with sock feet as apposed to stopping on a carpet, there is a considerable difference. note: your feet may even squeel on the hardwood floor ;)

There is a good possiblity it is the fuel pump. Spray a little starting fluid into the air intake duct to see if the engine will run breifly. If so the engine is not getting fuel. The fuel pump is located inside the fuel tank and it is common for the pump to fail. The fuel tank would have to be removed in order to replace the pump.
