How can you make your legs longer?

That would be almost impossible. You can create the illusion of longer legs with style-such as by wearing very tall heels, straight legged pants, etc.

One can go on a rack, generally used for torture, and stretch not only your legs, but your whole body by just a little bit. It will hurt immensely, but no pain, no gain.

Animals need three things to live, oxygen, food, and water.

In Ishmael by Daniel Quinn what does the poster With man gone will there be hope for gorilla With gorilla gone will there be hope for man?

It has been some time since I have read this book but I'll try my best to answer.

The statement means that, because of the Taker societies that engulf the world, there seems to be little hope for many other animals to continue to survive. This includes the gorilla. The first part of this statement reflects on that particular fact. With man (Takers) gone, will there be hope for gorillas (and other animals) to survive? The second part reflects the the thought that, if gorillas are gone (extinct), then humans are probably not far from extinction since we will have destroyed our environment to the point of no return. This question really gets at one of the central ideas of Quinn's work. The point that we are continually at war with nature. The lunacy in this is that we are a part of nature and any war against it is a war against ourselves. I may be wrong
