What freedoms did women have before 1979 in Iran?
Despite International Women's Day celebrations today, women in Iran still struggle for basic rights. The country's conservative authorities forbid women from simple activities such as watching the World Cup qualifying soccer game live in a stadium. More prominent are restrictions on their legal and civil rights. Women in Iran can inherit only half as much of their parents' wealth as their brothers. Their husbands can marry more than one woman, and automatically get custody of children after a divorce. Women can be jailed or hanged for defying the dress code, and they can be stoned to death for adultery. Since the 1979 overthrow of the Shah, the fundamentalist governments dominated by clerics have stressed the traditional role of women and restricted their civil rights and participation in political activities. The changes of women's conditions are very minor, only about surface things. But the limitations on basic rights and the legislation infrastructure haven't been changed at all Iranian women are better-educated and more politically sophisticated than many of their Muslim neighbors. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization reports that the literacy rate of Iranian women is 70 percent, compared with an average 46.2 percent in the Middle East. A large number of Iranian women hold professional jobs in journalism, medicine or law, or become human-rights activists. Up to 70 percent of university students in Iran are female.

Why was Ivan the Terrible famous?
Ivan the Terrible is important for many reasons, but most significant is that he was the first Czar of Russia. First, one must understand that his nickname in Russian, grozny, does not have a negative connotation and a better translation would likely be Ivan the Fearsome or Ivan the Formidable. This was not only because of his paranoia driving him to kill his heir Ivan Ivanovich and treat the nobles and others so brutally after a near-fatal illness and the death of his favorite wife. It was also because he conquered significant portions of modern day Russia, essentially encompassing the European Portions of Modern day Russia and started the settlement of Serbia from his original base as the Grand Principality of Moscow.

So, there was no middle class as we know it.
Did Simon bolivar led independence movements in latin America?
This is an opinion question. The answer could be yes OR no, depending on who is asked. Some foolish people use the word American to refer solely to the United States.
Yes. Simón Bolívar, El Liberador, is one of the great heroes in the history of America. He is the central figure in the struggle to end Spanish colonial rule in the New World.
No, he only contributed to Latin American History by liberating countries from their original parent countries.
I believe that Simon Bolivar did contribute to American History, or rather, world history. Without Simon Bolivar Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Panama, and Bolivar would still be owned by Spain, meaning there would not have the right to be free. They would have to follow Spain's laws and do what they were told. For example; when the United States was owned by England, they were required to pay England's tax.
Simon bolivar did many things in his 47 yearsof living. For one he was 1st president of Ecuador. He also was the greatst military figure in south America. he was a military leader a statesman and a good man
