What role does unity play in a country's desire for progress?
Unity plays a pivotal role in a country's utmost desire for progress. There is a familiar proverb 'Unity in diversity'. In fact in a multi cultural and multi racial country like India, only unity among various caste, creed and religion can tie the knot and facilitate in country's upliftment to the path for progress. Maintaining country's sovereignty and integrity are of paramount importance. It is a fact that when there is external aggression, the whole Nation unites to save country's sovereignty. But what is required is sense of nationhood, love for the country, its language, respect for national anthem which helps in arousing sense of brotherhood through unity. When unity is strengthened, it helps in country's overall development, be it in economy,sports,science and technology and so on.
This would be the languge, words and phrases used in casual situations by the people, as opposed to formal language.
Colloquial refers to ways things are said in a local area, that might be different to other parts. It is a local slang. An example of colloquial diction in a literary piece can be seen in Mark Twain's Huckleberry Finn, where the main characters Huck and especially Jim (the black slave) speak using slang.
A really good example would be to look at the way different people refer to carbonated drinks - in the US, we can tell where you are from by how you ask for your beverage! People in the northeastern and middle states call it "pop," while people in the western states say "soda." People in the south ask for a "coke" or for "dope!"
I am writing one right now in school, and to write a good one, make a intro so that the reader will know what they are going to start reading in ur body paragraphs. Then pick out your documents, add the information from the document, then add your outside knowlage... hopefully about 7-15 sentences in a paragraph...

Where did the word porcelain come from?
The word porcelain was introduced to the English vocabulary in the 1530s.
It is derived from the Middle French porcelaine and the Italian porcellana in the 13th century, which literally meant "cowrie shell", or "the chinaware that resembles the shiny surface of the shells".
Incidentally, the word can be further traced to porcella"young sow", the feminine form of the Latin porcellus "young pig", which is a diminutive form of porculus "piglet", which again is the diminutive form of porcus "pig".
Ivan Pavlov was known for his contribution of classical conditioning in the field of psychology. He first started by studying the digestive patterns of his dogs. He build a device that would measure the amount of saliva his dogs would secrete. Pavlov noticed that they would salivate every time when food was brought upon them. He called the salivation a reflex response since it was naturally recurring.
As time went by, he discovered that his dogs salivated without the actual food presented to them but rather by hearing the bowl clatter or seeing the lab assistant bring food. Pavlov then spent the rest of his time studying classical conditioning.
He called the food the unconditioned stimulus (US) because it was unlearned and it was the main reason why the dogs salivated. Pavlov began pairing cues before the presentation of the food which he called them the conditioned stimulus (CS). In classical conditioning, the CS can elicit the same response as the US. Soon, the dogs would salivate to a CS, such as the ringing of a bell.
Pavlov's concepts can also be applied to every day life. For example, when a child hears a dentist's drill, he will become frightened even though it is not the dentist himself.
Did John Milton change the old style of writing?
John Milton daringly attempted cosmic themes in regard to the lives and destiny of man, which in itself was a bold change from the old themes. The old themes in English Poetry and poetry elsewhere centred on themes consisting of heroic acts of kings, knights, demons and angels. Milton brought theme to the life of the lowly man and his indebtedness to his creator. It is true that whoever reads and sings his Paradise Lost will begin to think on similar lines and begin to write poems with the same words, tune and imagery, which was exactly what happened in his times. Thus John Milton pivoted the old style of writing in English Poetry to what is more good, popular and practical.
It depends on what is meant by 'the old style of writing' if this is the transition between middle english and modern english (the instead of ye) then shakespeare is most likely the protaganist in this process. English, per se is a constantly evolving language, it steals and absorbs, changes and makes its own. It has its own sub categories as in 'American english' which is distinctly owned by that continent.
Reading can be fun if you enjoy what you read. Books (or even articles online) provide information that improves your perception of the world around you. Even fiction contains elements of the world that you may never directly experience.
But you may be someone who hate reading, possibly because you don't understand, or often end a chapter only to realize you didn't get it. You have to stay focused and use your imagination to help you visualize the book's settings and characters, which will help it come to life. And you should keep your attention on the book, not other things such as TV shows or games.

Childhood abuse is acknowledged, and offenders are perceived more human and less monstrous to the victim.5. Symbolic reparation, apologies, is considerably more likely in mediation that court trial and victims report it is much more important than large sentences and material reparation.
