My check engine light is on not the maint req light in my 2003 Honda accord What could be wrong?

A variety of codes could be set to illuminate the Check Engine light, most likely it is an O2 Sensor code but to be on the safe side have it read. After a few thousand (> 30K) miles it isn't uncommon for the light to come on. My advise, Get it checked.

Where is the thermostat located on a 1993 Honda Accord LX?

Follow the lower radiator hose from where it attaches to the radiator, all the way up to where it attaches to the engine block. You may have to move the air intake hose out of the way. Pull off the radiator hose and unbolt the two 10mm bolts. Thermostat will be in the block. Pull it out and clean the surfaces. Use a new gasket and make sure the spring portion of the thermostat is pointed in toward the engine block when replacing.

How do you remove moisture from under the headlight cover on your 1999 Jeep?

The only sucessful way I have experienced is replacement.

There is another way. I detail headlights at used car dealers, what I do is drill a small hole on the lower edge of the light and let the moisture out. Using the lights will eventually evaporate the water. To clean the outside of the lens I product I sell called The CrystaLenz Headlight Restoration Kit.

How do you check the transmission fluid on a 2000 celica GTS?

Assuming you have the 6-speed manual transmission (C60 tranaxle), you first remove the center and driver's side engine under covers, then take out the transmission filler plug, which is located halfway up the front side of the transmission. Stick your little finger in the hole to see if the transmission fluid is between 0-5mm of the lip. If not, you need to top it off with API GL-5 SAE 75W-90 gear oil. You may want to use a rubber hose to go from the oil bottle to the filler plug opening. Just route the hose over the top of the LF tire and have someone squeeze the bottle for you while you hold the other end of the hose in the filler opening and watch for oil to start dripping out of the hole. All of this assumes the car is on a level surface. If you want to change out all the transmission fluid, the big drain plug is at the bottom of the transmission on its LH side.

I had the same problem with my transmission. I took it to AAA Transmissio and was told that the light flashes when the transmission goes into a safe mode only allowing 1st and 3rd gears to work. The solution is to replace the shift solenoid, not to be confused with the shift lock solenoid. There are two located on the transmission where the transmission cooling lines are. If you find where the rubber hoses connect to the metal lines for the transmission cooler the solenoid that needs to be replaced is the lower one. This is very easy and is only three screws. You can find the part at www.rockauto.com for about half of what a dealer wants. They also provide a picture of the part so you know what your looking for on the vehicle. I installed mine more than a year ago and haven't had a problem since.

ANSWER:

Just like the first answer, your transmission is set for sport. Look on your shifter, there is a little button underneath the one you press when you switch gears, depress this little button and that "S" light should turn off.
