I'm sorry but the first guy is wrong. My 1993 manual Del Sol weighs 2853, says so on the sticker and when I took it to get weighed. The Del Sol is one of the heaviest cars for Honda besides the prelude.

the sticker on the door is the weight rating, so it is several hundred pounds heavier than the actual weight. the del sol is one of their lightest cars except for the EG hatch, and original Insight

try disconnecting the battery for maybe 10-30 minutes...that should work.

The 1994 Honda Del Sol Si has the trunk release near the driver side door next to the gas cap release lever. It does have a lock so both the gas cap and trunk can be locked when leaving the car with a valet.

Could be a rod knock. Your bearings slipping in the engine.

You will have to drill a hole into the trunk. The best place is behind the licenses plate towards the center with a metal hole drilling bit. You'll get a clear access to the door lock. Mind you you'll meet at least 2 layers of metal. Thick metal. Trust me I had to do mine.

drilling a whole is the wrong way >< the correct way... use a leghty crow bar, or pry bar to pull the trunk lid up, not so hard as to break or bend the trunk lid, but hard enough to get about 1/2" clearance so you can see the lock, then carefully use a Sawzall with a metal cutting blade to cut the latch... Easiest way and doesnt damage anything if done right, also you can get a new lath for about .99$ at a junkyard...

Follow the lower radiator hose to the thermostat housing (metal cover). The switch is on the left of it screwed into it.
