What happens if you run away from hospital while on a section?
If you have been sectioned in Massachusetts (sec.12 or 35) the local police are notified. They will pick you up if and when you are spotted and you will be returned to the Hospital or in some cases a House of Correction to continue the Mandated involuntary evaluation, hospitalization, or Rehabilitation. Itisn't usually necessary for another section to be issued by the Health Care Professional or Police Dept. I imagine that the individual state laws are similar.

Is the women's institute for incorporation therapy legitimate WIIT and have they helped anyone?
I would not recommend the womens institute for incorporation therapy, all they care about is getting your money and is pretty much a waste of time for anyone considering going there, and to make matters worse it is being run like a general psych hospital and when i was there i didn't get the help i begged for, i gave them a money order and did what was asked and the shrink i seen couldn't understand me as he spoke little and i was told i would be there at least 2 weeks; but 3 days later i was told that i had to leave as they stated insurance problems; hello, my insurance was checked prior to going there and once i was there i was told something else; i drove 4 hours to get there and was told i had to be picked up by 11 and it was 4 in the afternoon and called husband and he had to leave work and come and get me; thus not real happy how things were handled to say the least, I gave them my whole check and really believe it did more damage then help, both financially and emotionally. Please be aware that you can get the same help from any psych ward and you don't have to travel or hand over a money order of your whole check....Would never recommend this place, if you need help with dissociative problems i would recommend Life Healing Center or McLean Hospital....and get a good therapist and see them regularly.

Can a hospital make you pay more than your medical insurance out of pocket maxium?
Take a look at the paperwork you signed at the hospital, it probably states on there somewhere that YOU are responsible for any amounts not covered by your insurance coverage.
That means that the hospital can try to collect any amounts, that your insurance coverage does not pay for, directly from you.
If you have already reached your maximum out of pocket limit through your insurance, your insurance should pay for the total amount of the bill from the hospital... but be sure to read all the fine print of your policies for clarification of what your out of pocket max really is, what services they will pay for, how to file claims, etc.. to see why they might not have paid the entire bill.
The hospital has every right to go after you for the bill though. You should be in contact with your insurance company and the hospital to get things worked out.

It all depends on the laws prevailing in your country. But don't worry. If you are underage, the penalty will be lesser. However, you may be referred to a juvenile jail or rehabs depending on the degree of your offense. When you say, 'alcohol poisoning,' the matter seems serious. Most probably, you will land on a rehabs. Wish you a quick recovery.
