Structuralism is important because it was a basis of many things we know about psychology nowadays and history is always important when you want to understand a subject. People don't really follow structuralism anymore though because it's been proven to not be a very good approach. Introspection and studying the structure of the brain doesn't explain behaviors and cognition well enough to really create good theories. This is why people now focus more on these approaches: humanistic, psychodynamic, biological, behaviorist, cognitive, and social-cultural.

You might have heard this before, but the base is the most important part of a structure or building, in this case it may be called the "psychological structure".

Childhood tends to mark and form us the most because it's an age where we encounter new things on a constant basis and, as you might have noticed even when you grew up, the first encounter with a certain object or person will usually involuntarily influence the experience, feelings and thoughts that follow after, regarding that respective thing.

Also, lack of experience (which you have plenty of when young) leads to you understanding and perceiving a thing in the wrong way, especially when someone is not there to explain it to you or guide you through. The image you have of the world is just your own and sometimes you can't compare it to something else because you don't know how to or that you're supposed to.

This is usually the case with families with a history of violence, drug or alcohol abuse, families that end up divorcing and families in which a child has been molested (there are more specifics, but this is a basic general/overall view).

They see only violence, fear, people getting hurt, so they tend to adopt that in their mind because they only see that thing. Children work in a "monkey see - monkey do system", they imitate what they see and hear very much. That's how they learn to speak, walk, to care for animals, to love, to have compassion etc. by learning it from other humans.

When that lacks and all they see is the other side of life, their mind perceives it as normal. Later on when they meet the "normal" side of life, they are in for a shock and feel a bit uncomfortable about it, just as we are with their life (that has violence, etc. in it) and they never really forget the past. That tends to make their decision making a bit screwed up, none of it being their fault as they perceive it as right to themselves.

Childhood is what makes us to react and perceive things the way we do. When you are a teenager, you tend to grow out of that and THEN start seeing things and understanding them, asking yourself questions etc. Adolescents and adults can make decisions and change, while as a child you don't really know how to.

That is why criminologists study behavior from that area of a person's life. That time is usually the time when we are taught how to be human and what is like to be human. If something gets screwed up, there's a big chance that even though you change, you can never forget, forgive or be completely unscarred.

Overt behavior is important because it represents observable actions and responses that can provide valuable information about a person's thoughts, feelings, and intentions. It allows others to understand and respond to individuals' behaviors and can impact social interactions, relationships, and decision-making. Tracking overt behavior can also help identify patterns, trends, and potential areas for personal growth or intervention.

You get neurosis from childhood emotional trauma i believe. I'm not a doctor but i did read it somewhere. i feel i am neurotic as i suffer anxiety and insecurity. the trauma could come from feeling unloved as a child or being locked in a room or cupboard as a child. cheers joan

For a person who was asked to describe/differentiate split pictures, when the corpus callosum of his is cut, he could speak or describe what he has seen in his right eye because speech is located in the left part of the brain, but if he was asked to visually point what he was saying, he will point out what his left eye saw, even though it's different from his topic, because his visualization is located in his right brain.

Women sometimes look at other women because they look really pretty or even if a girl has a man and looks at another girl prettier than her she will stare just to try to get her away from her man.

Women look at other women because they find them attractive, its that simple. Its not just because " they look really pretty". There is a difference between, "that outfit is really cute and looks good on her" and "she has a banging body". No matter what a woman tries to tell you, she isn't only checking out the outfit. She is checking out how the pants fit her but and how the shirt shows off her features. Whether she will admit that, that's a different story.

Freedom is what makes us different from animals. Human's can act with freedom; animals cannot.

Because we intended to do certain thing's, our actions are moral they are either good or evil.

Feeling's or passion's include us to act or not to act. They are a part of human nature. They are a sort of passage way between our senses- touch, sight, hearing and feeling-and our mind. In themselves, feelings are neither morally good nor morally evil.

6) Humans are blessed with a conscience

Moral conscience is present at the heart of every person. It is like a voice that tells us, at the appropriate moment, to do good and to avoid evil.

7)Humans are able to sin

As intelligent and free creatures , we can choose good or evil. . When we fail to love God and neighbour.

People do not really eat anything they can get their hands on, but they will eat most anything as long as it tastes good. Survival instinct. People who need to survive, have no money for food, will eat anything edible, that they can get their hands on.

some emo's cut themselves for attention others really have a hard life and are depressed so when they try to speak out loud the get shouted at. I'm emo but i don't cut myself you don't have to, to be emo. my friend cuts herself because she has a hard life and you do loose friends because of it but if you have one who does it, stay friends with them and if they talk about how it feels try to understand them because that's all any off them really need. some one to listen and to talk to

Tell him that you think he's being rude, and ask him to be more considerate. If he doesn't change, consider if he's mostly nice, or mostly rude. If you determine that he's the latter, then quit that relationship.

If he is rude or unkind to people who cannot speak back (servers, phone callers) then you need to realize it is likely he will eventually treat you that way, too.
