What type hydraulic fluid in bobcat 643 skid steer?

Use Bobcat (Orange) Hydraulic Oil. If you don't have access to this use hydraulic ISO 46 for temps of -40 to 80f. Use ISO 100 for +40 to 120f. 10w30 motor oil will also work in a pinch but try not to mix....go back to hydraulic at next change.

How do you add fluid to a Chrysler sebring convertible hydraulic motor?

Convertible top hydraulic motor is located behind the back part of rear seat. First remove bottom cushion of rear seat by pulling up on front side of it. then remove two bolts for removal of rear cushion. Be careful not to damage the hydraulic

lines when handling

the motor.

On top of one end of the convertible top pump is a rubber fill plug, remove it and fill it to the bottom of the fill hole. Here is the proper procedure.

  1. Rotate and raise the motor/pump assembly so the reservoir is in the up position. The rubber filler plug will be at the top.
  2. Raise the motor and pump fitting to at least 2" above the horizontal rear seat back reinforcement.
  3. Tilt the motor and pump assembly to approximately the 10 o'clock position, with the rubber filler plug still at the top.

CAUTION: The motor and pump assembly must remain in the current position until the rubber filler plug is reinstalled in step 7.

  1. Remove the rubber fill plug from the reservoir.
  2. Fill the hydraulic system by adding Dexron

2 Automatic Transmission Fluid to the bottom of the fill hole.

CAUTION: Do not operate the top switch in the "up", closing the top, direction.

  1. With two people, activate the top switch in the "down" (opening the top) position to fully retract the cylinder rods and hold for approximately 5 seconds, until the motor and pump stalls. A percolating or gurgle sound/feeling is an indication that the procedure is working.
  2. Top off the pump with Dexron

2 and insert the filler plug.

Should hydraulic lifters soak in oil overnight?

Well yes and no. I'm only 28 so some people think why listen to someone wet behind the ears hes wrong so here it goes. A lot of old timers will say yes so there pumped up and it does seem to be effective but alot of companies say no dont do it Let them pump up. I think the reason most people soak them is possibly cause they dont know how to set up the valve lash without resistence from the pumped up lifter or maybe there afraid the pressur of the valve spring will prevent it from pumping up but this is just not so. They are desighned to pump up automaticly . There hydraulic they work off pressure and as long as your engine has it it wont be a problem if not even being soaked without adequete pressure they will bleed down and tick so... just make sure that you lube the foot well so thge lifter and cam take. Its just as if not more critical if your using a used cam cause the old ones have already worked a specific wear pattern . Hope this helps if your not familiar with setting the lifters let me know thers an easy way for that to be done if you dont have a book

How do you replace a hydraulic pump for a 2000 Chevrolet Camaro convertible?

The pump is located in the trunk behind the back seat. You will need to place some rags to collect the hydraulic fluid. Disconnect the lines and the mounting and replace the pump. Before you do all of that you need to check and be sure that you have power and a good ground to the pump.

How do you repace the lower hose going from the hydraulic pump to the folding top cylinder lift on your 1967 mustang convertible top and do you have to bleed the pump?

You simply unscrew it at both ends. Be sure and put some rags or something underneath because a fair amount of hydraulic fluid will come out when you disconnect the line. The system will bleed itself by running the top up and down a couple of times. You'll have to top off the fluid, though. Be sure to check the fluid level with the top up.

How do you add hydraulics for accessories on ford 4000 tractor?

Ford makes a adaptor block that will allow you to add hydraulic circuits to the tractor. If you only need one or two circuits you can get a set of control valves that will mount in place of this block. Both will mount just under the front edge of the operator seat. Be warned the pump on the 4000 doesnt move a lot oil and the circuits may be slow. Other wise you can add a pump to the front of the engine or to the PTO on the rear. The front pump should be available from ford. The PTO pump is available at a lot of after market locations.

How do you adjust a hydraulic clutch on a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon?

A hydraulic clutch requires no adjustment, as it constantly adjusts itself.....if you are having problems getting into gear then check your fluid level and bleed the system, if the clutch is biting too high then its probably because the clutch is worn. If after checking the levels and bleeding you still have problems, then it could be a release bearing problem ..

How do you split one hydraulic outlet on a tractor into two cheaply?

You put a manual selector valve in between you spool valve and your outlet, turn handle to chose ,costs about $60.

Nothing hydraulic is cheap; however, if you buy a double hydraulic control and appropriate hoses, that is the cheapest way to go.

You can get a T-piece and fit it into your existing outlet line. Just be sure you have enough flow for the implement you are using. The only problem is that a t-peice will not allow individual control of either outlet, so you need 2 controls to contol each independently.

What kind of hydraulic oil for 722 bobcat?

I worked for a year at a rental store, they used havoline 10w30 for hydraulic oil for skid steer loaders from bobcat, case, they also used it in almond back hoes which are also hydrostatic driven.

Wether or not this causes early deteriation of the rubber hoses and seals I could not tell you, I would recommend calling the manufacture and using what they suggest.
