Time of day, amount of sleep, concetration, brain damge....any number of things can affect the score of an IQ test. Many believe these tests to be somewhat biased to begin with, and with any test you can achieve different scores in different settings. I have paranoid schizophrenia and underwent electro compulsive therapy (shock treatment) 18 times and experienced a significant drop in iq.

So, to figure out your mental age from a given IQ score, you'd divide your IQ by 100, and multiply that by your chronological age.

In this case, we take 94 and divide it by 100, to get .94. Multiplied by 15, we get a mental age of 14.1. That's well within the margin of error for average, and does not take into account text anxiety, the method of testing (it will take longer to fill out bubbles than to select an answer on a computer, for example).

To summarize, no it's not good, but it's not that bad either. I would recommend they read/study more.

This is one of the greatest questions. We can be sure that people will surrender their liberty as they have many times in the past, when it appears security and comfort can be gained.
