On the back side of the guage package. Remove the screw from KSW hole "A" and insert it into KSW hole "B". If the screw is already in hole"B" remove and move to hole "A". This will have to be done every 90,000 miles.

First, if you have a check engine light then have a shop scan for codes. That will tell you what is wrong. If it is bad then it will stall, hesitate, and blow out black smoke.

Depending on whether that's a light duty or medium-to-heavy duty Isuzu truck, you either have an OBD-1 connector, or you have an SAE J1708 connector.. if you have OBD-1, you're out of luck... that connector isn't available for the ProLink IQ. If you have a 1708 connector, you would ideally first fix the fault which caused the code, then choose "clear all DTCs" from the menu.

First...there was a factory recall on the ABS system, but the fix may or may not fix the problem. Second, stop by you local auto parts store and see if they will scan the cars computer for the error codes. The problem could be one of thousands, but you won't know until you check the error codes.

YOu need to remove the belt off the front of the engine, it is under the plastic cover in the top. It has three wires plugged into it. On mine one was black and blue, one was blue, and one was green. I found one at a wrecking yard.

i had same problem too. i cleaned egr valve and egr exhaust pipe. it worked fine after that. intake manifold gasket ( I think its called the Intake main gasket on this car) ususlly culprit apparently on this paticular vahicle.

If the gasket doesn't clear the code try this: I recently cleared my p0300 code. It was the spark plugs, incorrectly gapped by the shop! I actually replaced them again and set the gaps myself with 'iridium' spec plugs. Densos are the preferred choice but I used the Autolite Extreme Performance Iridium plugs. I had been carrying the fault for over a year yet the engine seemed to be running great. The PCM seems to be very sensitive to misfires. It made a difference that I wasn't aware of and the engine runs more smoothly too. Basically the best spark possible at the plug to reduce the possibility of a misfire when it matters most. Did you disconnect the battery for a while?

do one at a time so you don't reconnect incorrectly...

use Phillips screwdriver to remove two screws holding coil pack in plack. unplug electrical connector. pull up on coil pack and remove from spark plug. Use spark plug socket and long extension to remove spark plug. Installation of new is just opposite removal.

If you havent, buy a manual. Repairs and service can be tricky!

Having a head gasket replaced on a 2000 Amigo can be replaced but it can be hard depending on if the mechanic has the right instructions. Also, depending on the condition of the head gasket can depend on how hard it is replace the gasket.

I had found the pump to be in the fuel tank ! I had to drop the cover and then drain what little gas was left . Disconnect all fuel lines and vent hoses . Then the tank was free to drop . Removed the pump and cleaned tank prior to installation ... Then , reinstalled .

the easiest way is to remove the old "puck" style body lifts on the frame, and install smaller ones or remove them all together, this should lower the body 1-1 1/2 inches, as for suspension, that's a whole different much more complicated matter. Hope this helps..

It's usually on a sticker under the hood but you can always buy a motor manual with the diagram in it.

Apply the parking brake and place something behind the rear tire to prevent the car from rolling. Jack up the front end and remove the tire. Once the tire is removed, there will be (2) bolts (on your right side for the drivers side & left side on the passengers side) on the rear of the brake caliper. It's easier to remove both bolts which will remove the caliper from the rotor. Once the caliper is off...remove the old brake pads and install the rear brake pad first. If you don't already have one...go down to your local auto parts store and ask for a "disc brake pad spreader" (around $10). You'll need this to depress the caliper piston back into the caliper. Once this is done, install the remaining brake pad, re-align the caliper on the rotor, replace the (2) bolts removed earlier and you're finished.
