There is one Phillips head screw on the top of the asseembly, close to the headlight. Remove the screw, and there will be a ball and socket connection holding the assembly in place. Gently pull the top of the assembly toward the front of the truck. Then use a long screwdriver to gently pry the bottom toward the front of the truck. Keep alternating between the top and bottom, prying it a little at a time. Eventually, the unit will pop out.

Attached to the rear of the passengers side cab mud guard. I found it after a 30 min search but I need to know where the main fuse is, can you help with this.

It is between the valve top and rocker For 4ba1 it is 0.40mm

I also have 96 Isuzu Hombre and the exact same thing happened to me. It was a very easy fix too! It just needed clutch fluid. You can check it easily too. There is a small, cup like container on the drivers side of the truck, up near the firewall. Use DOT 3 brake fluid to fill it. When this happened to me it was completely dry. A friend told me about it, and checked it for me, and once it was filled up I didn't have any problems.

you can see the transmission level and quality by opening your hood. it's located in the upper right of the engine.

Its in a clear like container revealing its level. You can open the top cap to get a better look at the quality of the fluid.

To add more fluid the whole truck would need to be lifted. The equivalent of a transmission dipstick is found underneath. It can be cumbersome to add on your own. I recommend a professional do it.

The sensor will be by the accelerator pedal

The dipstick with the yellow top is the standard for oil, red is trans fluid.

If you still are having trouble with this.

Use an impact wrench to remove it.

If you do not own one rent from a auto parts store.

And use RED loctite thread locker when reinstalling.

If all else fails get a good breaker bar and a cheater bar and a crank pulley holding tool from a auto parts store.

Do NOT use a ratchet you will just break your tool and be in deeper dookey!

To reset the engine light you need an OBDII Reader. $39 From Harbor Freight. They have retail stores in many areas or use the following: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/displayitem.taf?Itemnumber=94168 It plugs into the OBDII socket. On my 01 Rodeo, it is under the dash next to the driver side door. Select 'Erase' on the Reader menu and you are done. Alternatively, you can disconnect the battery. This should wipe the OBD memory. Unfortunately, it will also reset the clock, the radio presets, and anything else in RAM in the car. Still, cheaper than going out and buying an OBD reader. ******************************* A cheaper alternative would be to go to an auto parts store, Checker Auto or Autozone in my area, and they have a check engine reader that they will let you use for free. They may require a deposit such as your drivers license or a credit card as security while you check the error code or erase that code.

A 1994 Isuzu NPR has the 4BD2 engine 4 cylinder turbo.

Can also be found (as a Chevy W-4 Tiltmaster; same chassis and a lot of common parts as NPR) with a Chevy 5.7L engine and 4L80E transmission.

you are bypassing the refrigerant lo pressure cut out switch when you wire the clutch direct.you need to determine if there is any refrigerant in the system.if the fuses are good and there is refrigerant in it, i would say that the problem is with either the pressure switch, or the A C controls on your dash.

We really need a model and year because their are many different ways to do this.

If the engine has a mechanical injection pump then it will have a plunger on the side of the pump . If its a later 04-05 model all the diesel engines went to a supply pump style fuel system. This goes for all models Hino, Isuzu, Mitsu, UD Nissan, etc. The pump is much smaller and compact. It isn't as complicated as the older mechanical style injection pumps.

Now on certain models there will be a plunger on the fuel filter housing, remotely located or none at all. The best way to bleed is to not get air in the filter in the first place. Pre-fill with diesel fuel or you can even use automatic transmission fluid as well. Yes, ATF is an oil and will burn just the same as diesel. I do it all the time and it's actually good for modern day fuel injectors becaue it acts as a lubricant. When the diesel fuel went to the ultra low sulfur design alot of the lubricating agents went away and due to the super tight tolerances in todays modern day injectors this lubrication is critical. So adding some atf into the filter isn't going to hurt anything it might help lubricate the entire fuel system and at one point Isuzu recommended adding a few quarts to the fuel tank on each fill up to aid lubrication of fuel components.

Anyplace that sells oil filters can tell you what filter you need.

The alternator may not be charging. Take it to your local auto parts store and have the charging system tested.

Any marking on the piston ring goes UP towards the top of the piston. Only the first 2 will have any marks and I believe they have the letter N on them so have the letter N facing up when installing the rings. Good luck.

The engine symbol means you should check the engine, the oil symbol means that the oil pressure is off, the thermometer means that the engine is overheated, and the battery symbol means the generator is malfunctioning.
