I have a 99 wrangler and have had problems with the wires shorting out or corroding under the box. I had to remove the box and replace some wires, the fuses in the box did not blow.

Your radiator will most likely be unable to hold water if the pump is broken. Your jeep will overheat without it's coolant, and, once the engine dies, it will not turn over. A good way to check is to a) check your water reservoir and see if it's been drained, and b) open your radiator when the engine is cool and pour some water inside. If the water comes pouring out from the engine-side of your radiator, it could be a broken water pump. Luckily, this could also be a sign of a simple stuck thermostat valve, which is about a $15 replacement part. If you are unsure, it is probably best to just take it to a mechanic.

If you mean the airflow diagram for the emissions system, it should always be on a plate under the hood or by the radiator or somewhere close by. If you are talking about the vacuum advance for the ignition timing, you should probably repost. Phil

Prop the hood of so it cannot fall. Each strut will have four retaining screws. Two screws on each and of the strut. Remove the strut retaining screws. Reverse the process to install the new struts.

Remove the belt. Remove the bolt that attaches the harmonic balancer. Rent or purchase a harmonic balancer puller. Follow the Instructions with the puller and remove the old balancer. Install the new balancer making sure to line up the keyway, a little oil helps. Put the retaining bolt back in and tighten to manufacture specs.

190 hp/ 220 torque with the stock inline 6 engine

I've been trying to find the same fitting for my 95 unit and may be on to something. On the AC compressor there is a fitting labeled H, which I assume is the High pressure side, which is NOT what you seek. I found an aluminum tubing that comes out of the firewall turns right and the follows the passenger side fender all the way to the radiator. There is a female fitting on that tubing that takes the recharge fitting, so after a little more investigation I hope to try that on my car. I hope that this helps you, and me.

On this specific vehicle, it is located under the vehicle on the passenger side, in the rear bottom of the motor, near the bellhousing. It is much easier to see it if you remove the starter. Actually, it will be a lot easier to replace if you remove the starter. Carefully remove the 3 pin connector so that it doesn't break. Then remove the bolt holding the connector and twist the sensor as you pull it out. Hope this helps.

the line is a quick disconnect. Take a pair of pliers and GENTLY squeeze the white tabs going into the rubber part of the line. As you are squeezing, pull on the rubber piece of the line and it should come right off. Same thing for the transmission end of the line.

If you have a V8 the thermostat is located under the coolant inlet tube. The tube is located on top of the engine, in the front about center. The thermostat is hard to change, I changed mine when I installed a new water pump. Hope this helps. Lou

IF it's a small block- V-8 there are 2 plugs, one on each side of the motor beneath the Exaust manifolds-ABOUT in the middle of the motor & usally take a 9/16 inch socket 2 remove them-I install NEW petcocks instead of the plugs so as not to need sockets the next time-IF U are going 2 drain on a regular basis.

Top off radiator, then fill coolant reserve to proper level.

You must make sure engine and radiator are cold because you can get hurt if hot coolant squirts out when removing radiator cap. Use a rag to protect your hand when removing radiator cap.

The manual transmission in a 1994 Cherokee uses 80 W 90 gear oil, not ATF.

My jeep has the same problem (1998 xj) and a mechanic told me that you have to remove the tranmission pan to get to it, its up inside the transmission and if your goin to rep[lace it you might as well change your filter while your at it.

If your engine is full of oil, drain off a quart of it. It's messy and you have to be quick or you might drain it all. With the engine a quart low add one quart of MARVEL MYSTERY OIL. Drive the car about a hundred miles, include some high speed highway miles. Now do a regular oil and filter change with HIGH QUALITY (NOT WAL-MART OR OTHER NO-NAME BRANDS) 5w30 oil. I prefer Castrol and Valvoline. This should quiet it down. If it does quiet down, change oil again at only 20,000 mile intervals for the next couple of changes going back to the recommended 10w30 oil.
The marvel oil flushes caked-on deposits from your lifters as well as from the rest of your internal parts. If the Marvel oil doesn't help, you need to replace the hydraulic lifters.

It is on the exhaust pipe close to the manifold. Simply unplug and unscrew it.

the 4.0 six in a 90 jeep Cherokee is not a v6 it is an inline 6. the firing order is 153624

Are you referring to the passenger side airbag or driver's?

In 1993, neither could be deactivated without disabling the entire system. The only way to disable the entire system is to disconnect the battery and let the capacitators discharge for 10 minutes, pull the fuses, and you're airbags are disabled.

Check the fuse, and thermal relay. If they are ok, apply 12 volts directly to the fan to see if it is good. The fan relay gives quite abit of trouble.

You need to go to a car parts store, and get a repair manual for your car. They cost about $16.00 Or, go to a Public Library.

on a 1990 Cherokee it is passenger side, halfway down the radiator,best way to get to it is remove the grille.

The Jeep Cherokee radiator drain plug is plastic and very fragile. You should remove the lower radiator hose to drain the cooling system.

The fuel filter is located on the frame rail on the rear (driver's side) of the vehicle just forward of the rear axle. It's about the size of a soup can and is metal. Hose goes in one end and comes out the other. Very obvious. Dpends on which engine you have. If you have the horrible misfortune of having the GM made 2.8L then the filter is on the drivers side rear of the carbuerrator where the fuel line enters the carb. Should be in the same location if you have and carbuerrated engine. If you have a fuel injected engine it should be on the drivers side of the vehicle under the rocker panel just behind the drivers door.
