Push in on the door panel just at the handle knob and use a screwdriver to pop loose the retainer clip.The knob will slip right off. When you put it back on just insert the clip on the handle and push the handle back into place.

Directly under the headlight there is a strip the same color of the vehicle. The strip is the same length of the bottom of the headlight and wraps around the corner light too. Once you open the hood look directly at the top of the headlamp assembly. And just a couple inches toward the engine compartment on the headlamp assembly itself. Where is black plastic area. You will see to hex shaped screw holes colored white. There are two of these about 4 inches from each other. One is used to adjust vertical movement of the beam, and the other for horizontal movement of the projector. Note one of the screws is barely visible so look close. It;s kind of hidden close in between the top steel cross member and the light assembly itself. These usually require a special tool to turn. But one can be fabricated at home easily.

I have a 97 Mazda millenia and its supposed to be located under the passengers side dash. I havent located it yet but I am going to look for it 2morrow and I will let you know what I find.

On the driver's side near the fuse panel inside the car. The ECU is located near the passenger's side underneath the radio/CD player.

i know if you do some finder mods you can fit 33" tires on the stock lift so I would say 35" easy but only with a good off set rim.

If the door feels like it is "hitting" on something, it is probably either worn hinge pings or the latch located on the body of the car (and not the door itself) is out of adjustment. If it closes but doesn't latch, it is either a faulty handle, latch, or latch rod/cable. All of these parts should be available at your local auto parts store.

Yes. You will need to buy a kit with all the frames and gutters the soft top needs to attach to the body, then a soft top and cariage for the soft top. Very doable with a bit of mechanical aptitude, basic tools and some $ for the required parts.

My first jeep was a 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sport, with the weenie 4 cylinder, and a 5 speed manual. When I hit 50,000 miles, I had decided to change everything that needed changing, beyond the normal tune up stuff. Amongst other things, I had decided the fuel filter was in need of changing. I never found it, but when I asked the Jeep Dealer he told me it was in the gas tank, and was not an item that needed periodic servicing. I checked someplace else and it turned out to be true..., weird but true. This probably should apply to your 1997 4.0 Sahara.

The same thing happened to me. I pulled the wires on the horns, and when I put them back, the horn worked properly. BUT the cruise control quit working and the computer says I have a bad Throttle Position Sensor, even though the sensor is fine as well as the wiring back to the Powertrain Control Module. What gives? It happens. All it is is that wires hate water. All that you have to do is take the horns off make sure that they are TOTALLY dry. Other wise there will be a short in the system.As for all of the other electronics you have to wait. After all of the water is fully dry from everything which can take a few days then generally it works out. My freinds wrangler shorts out when it get wet and then after it is dry it works. So good luck to you both!! I found that this is a common occurance and is almost always the "clockspring" loacted in the steering column behind the steering wheel.. Gauges lights come on and off and the jeep idled up and down and ran poorly. In addition the cruise quit working. This part only available from the dealer whom normally stocks it..

compress the suspension and measure. Fully flex the suspension and measure. You will be measuring the length between the two shock mounts. At that point you can order whatever shock you need based off of the length and not vehicle specific.
