At $90 an hour shop rate it would take about $1700 labor plus parts. If you were to do it yourself it requires $500 worth of special tools, plus parts, to get it back together. Either way it is a lot of work and money.

The vibration while the car is idle could be a sign that the rubber in the engine or powertrain mounts are wearing out. I went to 2 different shops and was told that the vibration was normal, but the 3rd shop pointed out the problem right a way and replaced 2 of the 4 mounts. After that my car was so silent at idle I thought it stalled.

green ..... but first check the color in your tank.. located right in front of your winshield driver side.. if no color ...not good. go have a flush done then fill with a 50/50 mixture antifreeze/water

access from below. passenger side of oil drain plug and up. easy from below. immpossible if not lifted up

first you must be mechanical incline. are you ready? first remove top manifold. if you look closely the cables have to beremoved from manifold. and all hoses set aside. now look ford the manifold bolt's on top..also there are two by the exhaust manifold.and one up front by egr valve.egr valve have to be removed from manifold, also.once you had removed manifold you will see the coil pack three of them. remove coil packs. and there they are,three spark plug's other three are on the other side.also remove coil packs to see sparkplugs.replace spark plugs and reverse procedure's. good luck...tip/ if those coil plugs are original-replace them' OK.because you don't want to do this again for a good long time.

There isn't one. You can purchase a harness that will plug into the back of the factory radio. It is a wiring harness that plugs into the 16 and 24 pin connections on the back of the radio. Then you plug the harness you unplugged into the new harness. Then there is a wire that runs down and comes out under the dash to plug in the mp3 player.

There are harnesses available that use the Satellite Radio input so that you can control the mp3 player from the stereo, assuming you have the Satellite-ready radio and you do not currently subscribe to Sirius or XM radio.

There are harnesses that use the AUX input, but I don't know how much you could control the mp3 player from the stereo controls with that option, though. The AUX jack is for an in-trunk CD changer that is optional on the vehicle. Since the CD changer would be controlled through the radio, there might be basic control for the mp3 player possible, although probably not with the song titles (text), as you would have if you get the one that runs through the satellite control.

Any of these options will require getting into the dashboard, which is something I wouldn't advise unless you know what you are doing.

Take the car to a TRANSMISSION shop. You have an internal problem that would need fixed.

mobil 1 5w30 is great oil to use. its more expensive but it is rated for a 10,000 mile oil change. i also use 1 quart of lucus heavyduty oil stabalizer. it gives extremely good lubrication and extends your engine life at least 50,000 miles if not more

the compressor is located in the lower front drivers side wheelwell. This is also where you recharge your A/C.

Im pretty sure its mounted on the wheel bearing assembly hub. Not sure what wheel but my geuss is the rear cause its rear wheel drive

It is located on the left (drivers) side of the engine. It is near the back of the engine on the head itself next to the intake. You will need to loosen the cam cover bolt to get it out. I believe it's a 8mm bolt holding it in and is not real easy to get you (need really small hands). You may have to move the throttle cables to get to it. The sensor itself is relatively inexpensive. Be very careful not to pull the wires out of the connector when removing it.

The Lincoln LS Restraint Control Module is located in the front of the center column beneath the ashtray. Disconnect the negative battery cable and wait 60 seconds before beginning any work. The shift selector will need to be removed. Unhook the park restraint cable prior to removing shifter. Remove the vent tubes that run along each side of the console to cool/heat the rear passengers. Also remove the curved vent tubes under the ashtray. This will expose the 3 bolts needed to remove the RCM. To remove the large electrical connector on the RCM, pinch the thumb tab and pivot the connector position assurance lever all the way back until it stops. Pull out and disconnect the RCM electrical connector.

Under the engine appearance cover over the intake manifold. Remove the plastic cover and you'll see the radiator hoses running to a black plastic piece in the middle front of the engine. There will be a cap on the top of this piece with a hole for a large Allen wrench, this is the engine coolant fill cap. There are two main hoses running out of this piece. The lower hose connects to the thermostat cover which is held on by 3 bolts. Remove those three bolts and slide that hose back and you'll see the thermostat.

Note the orientation of the thermostat as it only fits in the housing one way. Make sure to use a new gasket when you put the new thermostat in. Once the thermostat is in, refill the system via the cap previously noted. There is a specific set of instructions for doing the refill and bleed of the cooling system which are availabl in several places on the web, so I won't repeat them here as you can simply search for them.

There is no set depreciation percentage. As you know, certain vehicles retain their value better than others. Supply and demand controls this. Hondas are a big ticket. Very popular, great running cars, economical, etc. Then there's, say, a Cavalier. They break down all the time, don't run well, their not comfortable, etc. The 01' Cavalier had a trade in value of about $1200 by the following year. An 01' Honda is still worth about $10000 today.

The Lincoln ls has two fuel pumps. [This need some explanation]. The fuel tank is below the BACK passenger seats under the car. Because of the drive shaft the fuel tank is almost two halves but joint on the top. the main electrical fuel pump is on the [passenger side] back seat under a black plastic cover. On the driver side back seat, Under another black plastic cover, is a pump called a JET PUMP. it works by [ venturi effect ] and suctions fuel from the driver side half tank section to the passenger side half tank section and from 'this' tank the fuel goes to the engine via an electrical pump.
