How many miles per gallon does a 2007 Lincoln Navigator 4 wheel drive get?

Calculating fuel economy 1. Fill the fuel tank completely and record the initial odometer reading (in miles or kilometers). 2. Each time you fill the tank, record the amount of fuel added (in gallons or liters). 3. After at least three to five tank fill-ups, fill the fuel tank and record the current odometer reading. 4. Subtract your initial odometer reading from the current odometer reading. 5. Follow one of the simple calculations in order to determine fuel economy: Calculation 1: Divide total miles traveled by total gallons used. Calculation 2: Multiply liters used by 100, then divide by total kilometers traveled. Keep a record for at least one month and record the type of driving (city or highway). This will provide an accurate estimate of the vehicle's fuel economy under current driving conditions. Additionally, keeping records during summer and winter will show how temperature impacts fuel economy. In general, lower temperatures give lower fuel economy.

What would cause no heat in front but heat in rear on a 1999 navigator?

Answer

This would be your AC Blend Door causing this problem. It is a door that seems to be notorious for breaking in ford/lincoln... Ours is doing the same thing and I haven't replaced it yet. You can google "Lincoln Navigator AC Blend Door Replacement" and there is a guy out there that has pictures on how to remove your dash in a ford forum. The dealer will charge anywhere from $1000~$1900 to fix this. You can get away without taking the dash apart if you go to this website (www.heatertreater.net) and do it his way using his part (he has videos). I would only perform this if you are scarred to turn to a wrench and have some good organizational skills...

Blend Door Problem

Your problem sounds like the common blend door problem on the Ford Expeditions, and Ford Explorer. The door is on a vertical axis and when it breaks, it can swing back and forth randomly giving heat or AC or nothing. The difference on acceleration is the force placed on the door swinging it one direction.

You can check the operation by fully opening the glove box, removing the actuator motor on top of the plenum box and examining the blend door axle (the actuator is under the unit on top of the hump behind the flexible black plastic cover. It is on top of the unit, behind the glove box in the 2002 F-350 though). Pictures of the common fail signature are available on the Related Links below. There are several "free" fixes that mostly are worth what you pay for them. The solution on the web site is solid and proven over hundreds of vehicles and will resolve the problem once and for all.

How do you put seats from a 2002 Navigator in to a 1998 Navigator?

It would take cutting and welding of the actual floor pans, with some frame work beneath. I considered this a few years back for my 98 Gator when I seen the new folding seat designs. The problem is the seat frame is completely different and larger. Now the leather skins and most of the cusioning and support would swap out if that helps. Best Regards

How do you remove air compressor from navigator?

You don't mention, but this should do all Navigator years.

Make your life easier:

Remove battery completely.

Remove battery tray.

Must do:

Remove windshield washer reservoir. Two fluid lines, two electrical connectors.

MARK THE LINES! One is for the front window, the other is for the rear. You CAN get them backwards, which is just plain annoying.

Press red collar around air line connection into the air dryer (big black cylinder)

Be nice, it shouldn't be hard, and it's easily broken

Gently but firmly pull out the air line, if it doesn't come out easy, try pushing it in a little first to break the seal.

Undo the 3 bolts holding the entire compressor and bracket in.

Carefully unplug the harness.

Carefully "Work" it out. It won't come straight out, it needs to twist or rotate a bit.

Be careful not to damage your Air Conditioning hoses/lines.

If you're looking for a replacement, go to Arnott Industries in Florida. Their site is easily Googled. Awesome products, less than half the cost of the dealership.

What would cause the air suspension on a 2003 Lincoln navigator not to work?

there are several causes to the air pump. the first and most obvious is the air pump (compressor) itself. if you do not hear the compressor pumping air or if you do not feel the slight vibration of the compressor when you put your car into drive, then it's probably the compressor that has gone bad. if the compressor is coming on and you do not hear any air leaking, then your problem could be the height adjuster, located on the suspension bags themselves. Bronconvict: another possibility includes the compressor relay switch. This switch controlls the power to the air bag suspension compressor. This switch is known for burning out when the suspension compressor is working too hard. This can also be caused by a bad/corroded GEM module (due to notorious winshield leak). i had to replace "height sensor" on driver side . part was $200.

How do you wire a stereo in a Lincoln navigator?

Do yourself a favor. If you are planning to install an aftermarket radio, buy yourself a radio wiring hardness that will fit into the factory wiring hardness. It will cost under $20.00. And it will save you lost of headaches in the future. No short, or problems... _____________________________________________________________Remove Stock Ford RadioTools Needed To remove the radio you will need a "Radio Removal Tool". This is a "U" shaped pin with a dent at the end. This can be commonly found at auto parts stores or, WalMart, etc (widely available for $3-$4). The radio has two holes in each end (four holes total) · Insert the removal tool into the holes on each side (This will release the catches holding the radio into the dash) · Slide the radio toward you The Related links below gives instructions for radio removal and includes photos You can also make your own removing tool from a wire coat hanger: cut 2 U-shaped pieces (about 8" each) and insert them into the 2 holes in the front of your head unit; using a sideways motion and pulling towards you will do the trick, just be carefull when inserting the tool to not scratch the finish on the unit. I tried the wire hangar solution but went and bought the tool anyway. Either would probably work, but the tool is a bit more sturdy / stiff. Here are the instructions that come with the tool: * Disconnect negative battery wire * Insert the removal tool into the holes on either side of the faceplate * Push the tools forward about 1 inch until the retaining clips are released * ** Grasp the tools tightly and pull apart slightly as you pull the unit from the dash.

How does the ashtray and cupholder spring out on a 2000 navigator?

There's a springbar on the back side of the ashtray/cupholder "drawer." On mine, the springbar broke off the drawer, because it was attached only by a couple of plastic "posts" which, I believe were "mushroomed" with heat, to hold the springbar to it. You can remove the drawer by extending it, then reaching into the dash, above the drawer, where two plastic tabs (one on each side of the upper surface) can be carefully pulled downward, to allow the drawer to be removed. I found the spring lying inside the dash, just beneath the drawer. The attach points to the back side of the drawer were obvious. I drilled small starter holes through the two plastic posts and attached the springbar with small sheet metal screws, then reinserted the drawer on the track/rails. Now it works just fine.
