You can either browse the range of MacBook Pro's available on eBay or you can purchase a second hand MacBook Pro at the Apple Store under "Refurbished items". You can usually find discounts of up to $1000 at the refurbished items store online at Apple. That's if you wanted a second hand MacBook Pro. You can find cheaper than store bought new MacBook Pro's on eBay but don't expect to find them anywhere else.

From the Virtual Box File menu select Virtual Media Manager... This will present you with a list of installed operating systems on their virtual discs. MacBook Air:

Were made to easily travel with, it is very portable, .68 inches at it's highest point, and lightweight, less than 3 lbs. You have to sacrifice some power in exchange for portability. They come in an 11 inch and 13 inch model. The computer speed is about 2.0 GHz. They are in a solid state (no moving parts) and have a flash drive instead of a hard drive, which are much smaller and faster. They can have from 64 GB space to 512 GB, but keep in mind that the price inclines with the storage.

MacBook Pro:

Still portable, but not as much as the Macbook Airs, .91 inches and weigh just less than 5 lbs. These machines have a lot more power, 2.5 GHz, you are able to render videos faster, load up a lot heavier software without slowing down. The Pro has 500 GB storage. Has a DVD drive and burner. Plus, this computer is MUCH cheaper than the Air.

Both computer have the backlit keyboard.

Both have about 7 hrs battery (except for the 11 inch Air, has 5 hrs.)

Both have a webcam

When you get down to it, you need to consider what the use of the computer will be. If you're using it for business, schooling, lots of storage, or any other subject that will require lots of GHz, go with the MacBook Pro. There is no Apple computer simply called the "Mac", aside from possibly the "Macintosh" system released in the 80's. I'm going to assume by "Mac", you mean "iMac".

In that case, the iMac is an all in one system (just a monitor, keyboard, and mouse. No tower) and is for the average consumer. The Mac Pro, however, is a tower (similar to many PC's) with a monitor. The Mac Pro is, as the name indicates, for professional users. It's incredibly powerful, fast, and expensive, but it's absolutely great for users whose professional field is in video, or any other power-intensive work.

If you're looking to work with audio or graphics, an iMac 20-inch (for Audio) or iMac 24-inch (for Graphics) would suffice.

Any hardware you buy must be compatible with your computer system, otherwise, you won't be able to use it. It could be that the plug and sockets don't match, or the software driver needs to be downloaded and install (if a driver is available).

The Mac Mini is not a laptop computer. It is a Mac squeezed into a small box to which you add your own screen, keyboard, mouse etc.

Maybe it is different on OS X, but on OS 9, there is a battery icon next to the clock, it shows battery level, and also if it is charging. As well on OS 9, the control strip has a module showing the battery level and if the iBook is charging.

On the actual iBook (mine is Clamshell, probably different on Dual-USB G3s and G4s), where the power adaptor plugs in, there is a light, if it is a reddish-orange, it is charging, if it is green it is fully charged.

You don't necessarily need a Flash Player on your computer, however a lot of newer webpages are using Flash to power certain functions, just as picture viewers or media players. It is a free download and can be very useful

Currently, Apple is not thinking anything of another line of iPods. The iPod Touch and iPod Nano latest versions have already been released not too long ago. It is not known if there is going to be another line of iPods, but Apple is not thinking of anything yet.
