if you are not going to re use the tank you can drill the plastic, there is no drain plug, the best thing to do is to run it low then remove it, if you still need to drain it you will have to take out the fuel pump and tip the tank upside down

How do you remove stereo from 2004 Mazda 6?
YOU don't, unless you wanna remove your glovebox, and most of the dash (no sh*t) just goto car toys and buy the new deck (they install it for free) so it saves YOU the trouble. I think the headlight bulb removal is another pain in my ass with the Mazda 6. should have shopped better. but it is a sweet ride so oh well :)

How do you Change CD player Mazda 6 2004?
Ultimately, you could replace the whole unit with an aftermarket unit but it wouldn't be cheap. As you're already aware, the stereo system is kind of built in with various other things in the dash. Anything is possible of course if you're willing to spend some money but by the time you install even a basic aftermarket unit you're probably looking at several hundred bucks because of the adapter kit that you'd have to use for that install - that adapter kit alone probably would run you $150-$200.

What is the wiper blade size for 2004 Mazda 6?
The 2004 Mazda 6 takes a 22" drivers side, 18" passenger side and a fairly specialized 12" rear wiper that is difficult to find in the stores on the wagon. The hatchback takes a 20" rear. See sources and related links below for more information. Since there are currently over 22 different wiper arm attachments, do not buy wipers just by length only - be sure to lookup exact wiper blade part numbers by vehicle make, model and year for the brand wiper you decide to purchase. This ensures correct length AND correct attachment.

Pulse is Green/red trace behind the stereo. Remove trim from around Handbrake, then lift the trim around the handbrake, access then to two screws at base of radio facia. Remove glove box (pull sharply to disengage). A third screw, which goes into side of radio can then be removed. Whole facia, complete with radio and air vents can now be pulled forward to expose connector at rear of radio. Green wire with red trace gives a pulse of 4k

How do you replace the driver side headlight low beam bulb on a 2004 Mazda 6?
The driver's side low beam headlight is slightly easier to replace than the passenger side. The owner's manual states the dealer must replace this bulb, but it can be done yourself if you are handy. The main problem is limited access due to the crowded engine compartment. A flashlight and small mirror may be helpful, but no tools are needed. You need to purchase a replacement H1 55 watt halogen bulb. The low beam light is located closest to the fender. First remove the cover of the fuse box to give you more room to work. It is located in front of the battery. In front of the fusebox and partially hidden under the fender, you will see a circular hatch. It should be immediately behind the low beam headlight. Turn this hatch 1/8 of a turn counter clockwise (when you are looking at it from the rear). It may be a bit tight. Once you've turned it, it should come off when you pull it. Note the orientation so that you will be able to replace it when done. Inside, you will see a wire leading to the lamp. There is a clip on the fender-side of the wire that holds the lamp in place. Push in and toward the passenger side to release the clip (this takes a bit of effort). It will then swing upward and the lamp will be released. Pull the lamp straight out of the housing. Note the orientation of the lamp in the housing so you know how to put back the new one. Remove the burnt lamp by pulling it off the plug and replace it with the new one. Be sure not to touch the new lamp with your bare fingers (latex gloves work well). Now reinstall the lamp in the housing, swing the clip back down until it locks and screw the circular hatch back on. Don't forget to put the fusebox cover back on!

With the help of my brother, I was able to replace the driver side low beam to my 2006 Mazda 6. Above helped a ton but one additional piece of info was missing. There is a spring load on the bulb. After you remove the cap, you need to get a light in there and see the loop which is holding in the bulb. That has to be pressed down and pushed to the side to release the spring and then the bulb can be removed. The bulb I had to turn slightly and then it came right out. Take it out slowly so you can see how the replacement will go back in. The base of the replacment bulb had a flat side so I just kept track of where that was when I removed it. Don't touch the actual bulb...I was told that if you get the oils of your fingers on it, the light will burn out within a week because the oils bake on and cause it to burn out.
Be careful when removing the bulb. It can easily break and leave fragments inside the lens assembly. The wire spring is holding the bottom side of the light and when twisting the light to relieve the pressure on the bottom side, the bulb can break (which mine did).

What type of motor oil should you use for 2007 Mazda 6?
For real world warranty reasons, best case scenario have the oil changed by the dealership or buy Mazda 5w20 from the dealership and keep the invoice. If the vehicle is out of warranty, any new 5w20 synthetic oil will prove beneficial.
Best results can be found by making concurrent oil changes and using good quality oil filters.
