How do you replace slave cylinder Mazda B3 pickup?

To replace the slave cylinder on a Mazda B3 pickup, first, ensure the vehicle is safely elevated and secured. Remove the transmission's access cover and disconnect the hydraulic line from the slave cylinder, followed by unbolting the cylinder from its mounting. Finally, recheck for leaks and ensure proper clutch operation before lowering the vehicle.

How do you lift a Mazda b2200?

To lift a Mazda B2200, you can install a suspension lift kit, which typically includes new shocks, springs, and other components designed to raise the vehicle's height. Alternatively, using body lift spacers can elevate the body from the chassis without altering the suspension. It’s important to ensure proper alignment and check for any modifications needed for tires and drivetrain components to accommodate the lift. Always consult a professional or refer to specific lift kit instructions for your model year.

How do you remove the starter on a 1984 Mazda B-2000?

I changed my starter motor on my 1984 B2000 Pickup. Has to be done from underneath. Raise the front end - use jackstands. Remove the negative battery terminal. The holding bolts on the starter are difficult to reach and slow to remove but, with patience, can be done. Space around the motor is tight but with persistance, you can snake it out. Good Luck.

How can you tell if the ignition switch is going bad in a 1987 Mazda B2000 SE-5?

The symptoms may be one of several things. One is when you start the truck the gauges may not like the fuel, water temp, and warning lights do not come on.Another issue as (I have had) start the truck gauges work, warning lights but, when I turn the fan on for air,or heat nothing and had to jiggle the key in the ignition and it came on.Also had to remove the main fuse it is the large black in the center of the fuse block and reinstall to make the fan work. The other possibility is delay of no start or nothing happening when the key is on and not due to the alternator, starter,or battery or bad grounds.Even the dome light, radio not working as another example with the key on or even the truck running but,no power to either items. If you need to replace it just remove the five screws on the steering column, and the key cylinder or ignition is accessable. When replacing disconnect the ground cable on the battery before you do this as not to cause any sparks,or blowing fuses or melting wiring. The average cost of a new ignition is around 130.00 by most auto stores like auto zone, advance autoparts.

What causes a 1993 2200 truck not to start and not to have spark?

First make sure that the battery terminals are clean, also the negative ground cable going to the fender is clean, and at the subframe (passenger side) to the block.I would suggest removing the cable and sand these areas and reinstall. Now if the battery is fully charged, and the alternator is working properly(check with a mulitmeter for at least 12.5 volts average). Now if both are good by the above I would suggest checking for voltage at the coil itself with the key ON only.It should show at least the same voltage as above. If not replace the coil. This should fix the issue, unless the battery grounds were poor,or the ignition cylinder itself is not making proper contact to actually work as it should and not start the truck normally. The ignition is a touchy area where it can cause a variety of problems like ,no power to the hvac fan control, dash warning lights,or even a no start symptom,or no gauges working on the cluster.I suggest the simple stuff first battery, alternator, coil, and ground wire being cleaned.

What is wrong with a Mazda B2200 if it overheated and now it won't start and water pours out of the manifold somewhere?

Overheating will blow the head gasket and/or warp the cylinder head. In the worst scenario, the cylinder head probably cracked and allowing water to get into the piston(s) which is probably why the vehicle won't start. If you are going to do the work yourself, be sure and take the cylinder head to a machine shop and have it pressure tested for leaks and also have it resurfaced.

Do your taillights not work when headlight is out 1991 Mazda truck?

If your headlights and tail lights do not work, check your fuses in the fuse box just below the steering wheel at the speaker LHS. If all the lighting fuses are good it most likely is the headlight switch assembly in the steering column is bad, dirty or poor contacts electrically. If your turn signals and brake lights work and reverse lights this would indicate the wiring is probably fine.
