there is no crank sensor on a Mitsubishi 3000 gt but there is a crank angle sensor that looks just like a distributor its in the back of the engine on top between valve covers

Remove the tie rod nut. Pop tie rod out of the hole in spindle. Unscrew tie rod from steering box. Install new tie rod in reverse order. Have front end aligned.

Not long. Bout an hour to cand track rod ends and tie rods on both sides. Had t cut one off with a grinder though.

i am unsure on why the car is sputtering although at idle it may be stalling out/dying due to the IAC(idle air controll) first try to clean the iac it is located next to the throttle body if that does not work you may have to buy a new one wich range at about $300 (unfortunatly) try the TPS , am pretty sure tha's the problemo.

yeah the vr4 engine will bolt up right to the transmission, its been done quite often actually, check out the 3si.com forums and meet people who actually done it.

You just have to do a full swap, including wire harnesses, ecu, exhaust headers to mount up to the turbos, etc.

also think about beefing up your transmission too, i have met alot of guys that dropped trannys because of too much power. that's the Achilles heel of the 3/S, the drivetrain, tiny lil Mitsubishi mirage tranny pushing a 2 ton tank,

To replace just the mast, you turn on the ignition to extend the existing mast and pull on it at the same time. If the whole thing come out in one piece, you can consider yourself lucky, place in the new mast end and turn off your ignition and help it feed the new toother mast into the mechanism. If you find that there's a chunk of the old [plastic mast left in their, you'll need to - - Remove the trunk bins and spare wheel (screwed into the trunk floor from the inside , I think there are three screws in each plastic bin) - remove the plastic rear panel in order to reveal the screws holding the inside left panel screws and then pull the panel back faqr enough to get your hands in. -using a 10mm sockets set, remove the aut antenna, unplug it and take it to a desk somewhere. You then have to remove the side cover and fish out any brokens teeth or peices of plastic so you can clear up enough space for the new mast. Reinstallation is the reverse of removal. I have done this and although it sounds laborious, it's actually very easy and straighforward.

Replacing the water pump and replacing the timing belt are both part of the 60K maintenance.

fist you have to make sure that the number one position is at its top/highest point. the cam gears have dots on the out side that you line up with two triangle like arrows on the valve cover. there some help-full links online to show pics of all this. good luck

the 1991 3000gt are dohc. it comes stock with 222hp. they also made sohc but that wasn't until later generations of the 3000gt's. The 1991 dodge stealths came in sohc, compared to the 91 3000gt's dohc. either way, with minor adjustments, it will fit from sohc to dohc.

if the timing belt does go on gto it would be a miracle if you didn't bend half of the valves ! its whats called an interference motor. if something gets out of time - you get major interference, costs $$$$$

They technically have four seats. but you should only use two unless you want to torture your friends that sit in the back.

There are 2 tweeters in the dash, a 6 1/2 in each door and 6x9s in the back

Hi, Not an easy question to answer or an easy job to do. You will require a service manual to do this. It will require removing the transmission,clutch and oil pan if it is a rear seal. Good luck

facing engine (bonnet up) on right hand side near shock tower is BLACK reservoir with sensor wire in center of cap - this is power steering(white capped reservoir = brake )do not put brake fluid in power-steering or power-steering fluid in brake res. use power-steering fluid or auto trans fluid to top up

Check your battery terminals one is either loose or the grounds are bad.... On the firewall.... The clicking is the starter not getting enough power... No Clicking means no power or bad starter..Or you killed the battery(no power).. Google starter problems etc...

try checking your timing chain. I had the exact same thing happen to me for about one month then my timing chain broke on a 12 year old 1981 Toyota Celica with a lot of km's.
