I don't know about the '98 GS, but the '98 RS does not have a governor... at least, not below 120 mph... I haven't had it any faster than that.

The fuse box for my 1998 Eclipse Spyder is up under the dash on the left of the driver's side leg area. Look up and inside to the left with your head down by the brake pedal.

sorry mate but you can´t do it, you must to look for the six digits code to unlock the radio, you press the preset 6 button then press func botton for ten seconds both bottons you´ll see a new code, then press func button and disc button and you have six dashes to put the code, but the difficult one is find the correct code

There is no adjustment for this, Your need to look for a vac. leak at the throttle body /intake gaskit or the (IAC) Idle Air Control Motor or the control switch at the AC compresor, Also check for vac. leaks around the hose for youre EGR system.

The head bolt torque specs for the 2000 Eclipse with a 3.0 liter is 81.07 feet-pounds and 973.39 inch-pounds. In addition, torque specs include 100 N-m.

as far as i am concerned, this car is not governed, i have a 96 eclipse and no governor on it, i have picked the car up to 5k rpm in 5th gear and nothing felt like was governed. so no governor, i do not no if autos are governed though.

It could just be a bad spark plug wire or the spark plugs need changing.

The acc switch in an automobile is an accessory switch. It is used for listening to the radio or other electronic equipment in the car with the engine turned off.

Replace them. This can be done without removing the heads. Talk to your mechanic about this.

or you could just change your high compresion pistons to low compresion ones and buy a t5 turbo

Your not going to find a short answer to that because it is very extensive to it, I my self have done 2 so I can tell you its not a weekend project, go to club3g.com and research it.

I'm always finding ways to save on labor costs. So I find simple ways in doing it myself. First BE SAFE AND DON'T TAKE SHORTCUTS!! Use a standard lift or floor jack and place it on the side if the vehicle that the mount is on. Just enough for you to fit underneath. Next use a separate jack to lift the motor GENTLY. An inch or two is enough. Remove the bolt and center pin that goes right in the center of the mount. Next use tools to remove and install the old and new mount. Hope this helps. Be safe.

There are two others, one of which is by the timing belt cover. I would recomment doing all timing belt/water pump at the same time, as its always a pain to get out. this you can do from the front of the car under the hood. just be sure to lift the motor back to the righgt position

A Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS is the model above the GT. The GT and GTS have similar motors but the GTS has a higher compression ratio, and a different intake. The GTS model also comes with all the bells and whistles such as leather interior, 7 speaker sound system, power seat, 17'' rims, front and rear disc brakes, and so on and so forth. It is the Intake Air Temperature sensor usually located on the air inlet housing. When malfunctioning it will post error code P0111 and illuminate the Service Engine Soon warning llamp.

There are 4 O2 sensors on this engine. 2 in front and 2 on the back side of the engine. The lower most one in back requires partial removal of the exhaust.

the timing is not the problem if the car is starting and running. if the timing was off the car would not start. if the car is going hard into 4th gear and none of the others than you might want tohave the tranmission check by a professionall before it becomes more serious. sounds like the copper plate between the gearsthat insures proper alignment when shifting is damaged or worn away..... same happened o my 93 probe 5 speed when i as racing on the intestate.

Some Mitsubishi cars do not make even that far.
