White smoke is an indication of a blown head gasket. Stop driving this car immediately. Although the compression is not great, it is not bad enough to warrant an expensive overhaul. If on the other hand you find that the head gasket has indeed blown, then you might want to just go ahead an overhaul the engine as the head will have to be removed anyway. if you are trying to find this to make more power by upping your fuel mixture by tricking that sensor i am telling you its a bad idea. you really are not going to make any real power, contrary to popular belief, especially if you are an N.A. motor. if you are trying to find it for a real reason it is on the back side of the intake plenum closer to the passenger side of the motor. it has a grey plug and what will look like a threaded nut and nipple that attatches it to the plenum. honestly if you are trying to trick the ecu with that sensor you are going to regret it later on. in all actuality if its a turbo car you should even be worried about something that insignificant spend the dough get a boost controller and youre good. if its an N.A. car nothing you can ever do short of a motor swap or a heap of nitrous will ever make that car fast.

On a 93 it is a lever located on the bottom of the steering wheel column. Bang your knees on the bottom of the steering wheel column and you will proabbly hit it.

Stock turbo can run close to 14 PSI...but you can increase as much as your turbo can. The engine will not last as long with higher boost. Upgrading internals such as pistons, rods, crankshaft, camshaft, and valves can allow much higher boost.

Check the 97 Eclipse starter solenoid. Also check the wiring for any loose connections. Since the battery and starter are goor, these are the two most likely problem spots.

To check which one you have there is a sticker on the firewall on the passenger side, check the code on it. If the second last digit is a 4 it's a FED if it's a 9 it's a Cali.

In 2000 they didn't have the GTS they were made from 2003-2005 I think.

1. Remove wheel 2. Pull/Slide the disk out, its not attached by any screws or bolts, the wheel holds it in place. You may have to tap it with a hammer due to rust.

Yes it will make your life much easier to have the turbo ecu and harness. The turbo injectors have a resistor pack that the non-turbo engines do not use. So that would have to be manually wired in to use stock turbo injectors and ecu.

A 2000 Mitsubishi eclipse uses any good general-purpose antifreeze. Look for the type that is labeled for any make and model.

yes, there were 4 models of the eclipse, 2 of them were turbo. the gsx was the only AWD eclipse made that year

Is this a serious question? If so, then I will answer it seriously. Your spark plugs are located under your spark plug wires. Looking at the engine, you will see two square black boxes sitting atop your valve cover. Those are your ignition coils. See those wires coming from each ignition coil? Follow those wires and, upon grasping them at the base where they enter your valve cover and softly pulling in an upward motion, you will find your spark plugs nestled at the bottom of a long tube. You can do this one of two ways. The first and easy way to do this would be to remove the horn panel on you steering wheel and disconnect the clips from the horn button but b sure to use electrical tape so they do not touch each other. Or the second way would be to climb under the car and disconnect the wires from the horn itself.
