To change the oil filter first drain the old oil. Then use an oil filter wrench, preferably the cup type you put on a ratchet, and unscrew the filter. The filter is located right next to the oil pan, it's pretty obvious what it is. Then take the new filter, rub some oil on the gasket, and hand tighten it. DO NOT tighten with wrench, only hand tighten it! Then fill the car with new oil. All done.

i have a lancer 2004 and my mechanic recommends I change it every 6 months and that timeframe makes sense if you want to keep the life of the transmissions longer because CVT transmissions in Lancers are sometimes troublesome if you dont maintain it

if ur going specs wise then the evo 6 rs is the best for power to weight ratio but for looks id say the evo 7 the evo 9 is good due to it having the mivec head but the magnesium turbine wheel in the turbo has been known to "blow" when increasing boost to it hope this helps

The oil sending unit is located on the back side of the engine on a 2002 Lancer. It is under the intake manifold.

Another possibility is shoddy wiring. My 2008 GTS came with a 10" subwoofer set-up with a shoddy factory install that had power and ground cables for the amplifier routed on the same side of the vehicle which can cause this hissing sound. I rewired it myself instead of waiting for a Mitsu dealer to do it for me, and the hiss went away.

A simple explanation can be found in the owner's manual, but assuming you don't have it (like me jeje). Here is what you do

1) Disconnect the bulb from the wiring (there is a little latch you can press and then pull backwards away from light bulb). 2) Twist the safety covering until it comes loose. 3) Pull back both the bulb and the safety covering. 4) Now you'll have the bulb and safety separated from everything, simply replace the bulb (9007 series) and do the backwards process to reinsert the bulb and reattach it to the wiring, and all done.

Try not to touch the bulb with your fingers, the oils on your hands will make the bulb burn out faster. use clean rubber gloves or tissue paper to hold bulb.
