How to change a starter:

1. Unhook the battery.

2. Find the starter. It looks like a long cylinder with a small cylinder on top of it. The small cylinder has a thick wire running back to the battery, and a thin wire that pushes on. It could be under the engine, between the engine and the firewall, on top of the engine, somewhere. Anyway, find this thing. Remove the two wires--the thick one bolts on, usually with a 13mm nut--and the two nuts holding the starter to the engine. Pull it out and lower it with both hands to the ground; if you drop it on yourself it's gonna hurt because these are heavy.

3. Take the starter to an auto parts store and trade it in on a new starter. You might have to wait a day to get it because old starters normally aren't stocked. If you don't mind waiting a few days, take it to an auto electric place and have it rebuilt.

4. Go home with the new starter, put it in place, tighten the nuts that hold it in as tight as you can, put the two wires back on, hook the battery back up and you're almost done.

5. Go inside and clean up.

6. Start your car. If it starts you did it right.

For this a garage will charge you a hundred dollars labor.

Press the eject button.

Unlock the car, then simply press down on the outer right edge of fuel door. It will pop up.

Its in a 3rd fuse box in the engine compartment next to the wiper fluid reservoir

The car did not come with an antenna. It uses an antenna embedded in the rear window

I forgot to tell you after you connect the battery with the key in start position try to start the car after you reconnect the battery

The first thing I would do is to take the shift lever cover off to make shure it is not broken. Then crawl under the car to make shure the linkage is not broken where it connects to the shifter under the car. next i would look at the top of the transmission on the driver to check the other end of the linkage. if the linkage moves when you shift gears then the problem is in the transmisssion. At that point push it down a hill into the weeds and buy a new car.

Check your fluids. But you may need a new transmission.

Using a set of a/c gauges put the blue hose on the low side (suction side) and the red hose on the high side (discharge side) and make sure that there is no freon in the system and if you have freon in the system then you will have to go to an automotive a/c shop and have them reclaim it for you.. Put the yellow hose on your vacuum pump and let it run for about 1 hour and then let it sit for 1 hour so that you can see if it will at least hold the vacuum pulled. If so then let it run for an additional hour and then start the recharging process remembering to keep the low side readings between 30 to 40psi and the high side between 200 to 250psi depending on the outside temperature…………….

Since there's not enough info for a specific answer, here's the first thing to check.

You say windows, meaning more than 1 not working - if none are working that would be the fuse for that whole window circuit. Check the fuse box in the driver area, and the fuse box in the engine compartment.

That's the first check - because you really don't just "fix" them without knowing what's wrong with them.

Speed sensor might need replacing. Does the check engine light come on when driving?

If you have a Maxima GXE with the VG30E engine, the fuel filter is located on the firewall on the driver's side. It simply slides into a bracket, and the rubber fuel lines are just held on by 2 clamps. The filter is in the same place on a 1992 Maxima SE with the VE30DE engine as well, but it will be slightly harder to access.

One thing that you can do but it is extremely difficult is manually open the hood. You have to locate where the hood latch is in the middle of the car and push it out so the hood can be free. I would wear something for your eyes because you might need to grease it up before can even move it. The latch can be reached behind or in front of the radiator so make sure to check with a flash light. Also check if there is anything jammed, you can never be too sure.
