To remove the shroud fold the windshield wipers forward, rotate the clips at the top of the wiper drive heads and remove the wipers by pulling up. Before you remove the wiper arm, mark the position with a piece of tape stuck on the plastic shroud or lightly scribe a line on the shroud. This will allow you get them back in the right position the first try. Next remove the six nylon phillip head screws along the middle of the plastic shroud. Now open the hood and remove the four phillip nead nylon screws in the lower edge of the shroud. Now remove the nylon retainers that these screws screwed into by pushing them up. Now you can carefully remove the black plastic shroud by lifting the top edge up and moving it along the wind shield. My van never had a cabin air filter installed at the factory, so there was a lot of leaves and trash to clean out before the new filter could be installed. You will need a vacuum cleaner and an air compressor to get all the trash out. Good Luck John Anderson The filters are located behind the glove box. first remove the glove box, it has about 7 screws. then look inside to the left, need a light, you will see a small black plastic with air flow and arrow on it. remove 3 7/32"screws you will see the filter in it. The filters are inserted sideways and stacked one on top of the other. As you take one out you will see there is another just below that will have to be pulled up and then out.

I have a 1999 VW Passat and had the passenger side dash lights go out. I had to get new vents for that side believe it or not as they are connected in some way.

dont bother every nissan i have scanned the first code is knock sensor. most people use 87 octane fuel and this will ping once in a while under load when hot new sensor will do the same just clear code. ps under the intake manifold. if the van has a shaky idle yet runs fine when you step on the peddle this model is famous for clogged fuel injectors a professional injector cleaning machine works wonders for smooth idle fuel eco and power

Mass Air Flow Meter - 1997 Ford Aerostar replacement

I had this problem with my Villager and continue to have it with my Quest. The Villager went back to the dealer who told me that there were no problems that they could find but it was a common problem with the Quest and Villager. When I need to use the fluid I press and release the switch until the pump kicks on and the fluid sprays. It's a pain but it always comes on after 30 secs. of working the switch. There is a really good Nissan mechanic on allexperts.com who answers 5 questions a day. Sometimes you may have to wait until midnight to get a question in. I also had this same problem with my 97 Quest. It turned out to be a combination of two issues. #1: Crud in the lines, had to use compressed air and a little bit of patience to blow out and rinse the lines a couple of times. # 2 the switch on the steering column as you already know is intermittent. Since I have other issues with the van that are higher on the priority list I've learned where the "sweet spot" is on the switch to get it to work. I simply press in on the switch ( like your supposed to) then gently twist back and forth as if your changing wiper speed until the washer pump energizes. hope this helps.

The factory recommended engine oil viscosity for a 2006 Nissan Quest is 5W30. You'll need about 4.5 quarts.

You have to twist the bulb to get it out, twist left. After removing the old bulb, remove the wire assembly, you will need a flathead screwdriver to do this. After removing the wire assembly, take the new bulb (don't touch the glass with your fingers! It will ruin the bulb) and put it into the hole, twisting it to the right. After putting the new bulb in place, attach the wire assembly to the end of the bulb.
